Finally, I came to the National Gardens in Athens. This place is pretty big. I really like how the nature was structured here, forming a kind of tunnel over the paths and passageways. It almost reminded me of the Tunnel of Love in Ukraine in a way. It is very peaceful here and because of the weather, there wasn't that many people here. After visiting the National Gardens, I also paid a quick stop at the Greek Parliament building which is literally next to the National Garden. However, I was late when the changing of the guard took place and there were quite a few people there watching.

Small woodpecker that we can identify with his particular tambourine. Voluble and rowdy during the mating season, he will be very discreet this past season, unlike other species of woodpeckers.
