I took a guided tour to Delphi and bus ride from Athens was about 2 hours and 30 minutes. We stopped at a little town where got out to stretch out our legs, buy bottled water, and eat a few snacks before continuing our scenic route to Delphi. Once we arrived, our tour guide showed us several ancient ruins of Delphi. She showed us the treasury where the Greek city states would come in and put their treasure, gold, and money as part of an offering to the Greek god Apollo. We also saw the remains of Apollo's temple, theatre, and stadium. Then we had a short tour of the nearby museum. After having lunch, we saw the remains of the Oracle before returning to Athens.

Deciding to explore Athens, I first came to this park that has the statue of Athena. The park had some really cool landscape designs and is very peaceful. I'm not sure what it was called, but it is not far from Mount Lycabettus. Mount Lycabettus was another place I visited and it is one of my favorite places. As you ascend to the top, you could see most of the city. Once you're on top, you really could see the entire city of Athens. I was also surprised that they have a church up top too with a few cafes and restaurants.

Observé de loin, aperçu, entendu... Je n'ai jamais vraiment eu l'opportunité de le photographier correctement.
Ce jour, ils étaient 3 à égayer mon affût du soir.

La capacità di questo elegante Uccello, il più grande tra i Picchi, è quella di perforare i Tronchi degli Alberi, con un suono che ammalia (almeno questo è quello che accade a me)
Un vero architetto Forestale, un ingegnere...
Il Picchio nero, come gli altri Picchi, per arrampicarsi con agilità sui Tronchi verticali, è dotato, come saprete, di zampe Zigodattili ( Tarsi corti e con il primo e il quarto dito rivolti all'indietro in opposizione al secondo e al terzo che sono rivolti in avanti ovvero due dita rivolte in avanti e due posteriori ) e una coda rigida che usa come punto d'appoggio, come si vede nella foto.
