Hi ha dies que costa sortir del llit, i més amb la previsió de cel blau, així i tot vaig decidir aixecar-me i aprofitar per anar al port a veure què podia fer, la idea del pic Maià amb neu ja hem temptava. Vaig arribar a lloc en l’hora blava i vaig aprofitar per fer algunes fotos des de la part baixa del port, un cop les tenia vaig pujar a la part alta del port ja per fer volar el dron. El cel es va posar espectacular, tot i no tenir ni un núvol, per la part on sortiria al sol es va posar d’un daurat i per l’oposada un rosa molt potent ( cinturó de venus ).

A bit of a mystery pic - The Metadata says: Taken in 1942 - Aleppo - Baghdad Railway - Syrian Railways - Lebanon Lignes Syriennes de Baghdad (LSB) Geo Egestorff 0-8-0 loco No. 862.

It's a former Prussian G8 0-8-0 with a modified chimney arrangement. At least 48 were supplied by France to the Societe Ottomane du Chemin de fer Damas-Hama et prolongements -DHP for short - in 1939, but my source says these were numbered 801-848..

I can only find passing reference to the LSB in Hughes Middle East Railways and no loco numbered 862. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough? There is also a pic of loco 863 in the collection.
