This was the final stop of my Greek cruise. The island is called Aegina and it is one of my favorites. There is a city that we stopped at that is bustling with activity. The marketplace is full of life and you can try pistachios. It is where pistachios are actually made. They even gave samples of a pistachio alcohol which was really good. And you could also have home made ice cream and can go shopping. It was really cool to see horse carriages there too. There is a lot to discover here. They even have Apollo's temple or Apollo's statue or something like that there too, but it was closed when we were there. But there was plenty to do anyways.
Finally, I came to the National Gardens in Athens. This place is pretty big. I really like how the nature was structured here, forming a kind of tunnel over the paths and passageways. It almost reminded me of the Tunnel of Love in Ukraine in a way. It is very peaceful here and because of the weather, there wasn't that many people here. After visiting the National Gardens, I also paid a quick stop at the Greek Parliament building which is literally next to the National Garden. However, I was late when the changing of the guard took place and there were quite a few people there watching.

J'ai souvent pris en photo des pic-épeiches mais rarement en plein soleil... et bien voila... fait... sur les chemins de la petite Camargue Alsacienne, Saint Louis, France.

Le Pic mar présente une ressemblance avec le Pic épeiche, mais le dessus de la tête est entièrement rouge, les joues sont blanches et ses flancs sont striés de sombre et deviennent roses au ventre.
Le Pic mar se nourrit principalement d'insectes capturés dans les crevasses des écorces, sous les écorces décollées de branches mortes, à la surface des feuilles,....
Il descend très rarement au sol pour se nourrir.
