We made our first trip to Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park in the SE of Alberta at the weekend. A sacred place to the Blackfoot nation it has the largest collection of pictographs and petroglyphs on the plains, and it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019.. Those are the Sweetgrass Hills in Montana in the background.

One from the archives. The Pi sculpture at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. So instantly recognisable to anyone who has visited. Hope they will be open again soon!
Es el pino negro de vuelta de cañón (perímetro) mas grande medido en Catalunya, tiene una altura de 15 metros, la copa del arbol hace otros 15 metros y la vuelta de cañón es de 1,5 metros.
Ce couple de pies, je l'observe depuis presqu'un mois... Elles ont récupéré leur ancien nid abîmé par le mauvais temps et brindille après brindille elles ont reconstruit leur nid !!!
