Another one from Australia Zoo. Sorry we didn't put anything up last week, but we were on the way south to Byron Bay, and didn't really feel like it anyway. We're still trying our best to stand up straight on a surf board, but it keeps getting better and better.
One week left. We'll be in Sydney next Thursday, so Debbie and Danielle, if you have some time for us, that'd be great ;)
Oh and by the way: we're engaged.
My all time favorite photobooth is in The City Museum in St. Louis. These are the ones we took this weekend.
This is probably the lamest picture anyone will ever see on flickr. I haven't had the time / the horrid weather is not permitting me to go out and shoot more pictures. In fact, I haven't really been shooting much with my GF1 since the summer as i've been shooting with my film camera. Hence, I present you my photobooth-ed blue face. I still don't really know what to make out of this flickr account but i've been using this more as a platform to blog because 1) my tendencies in forgetting usernames and passwords are hampering me from creating another account on top of lists and lists of other usernames that i dont already remember 2) my tumblr account has turned me into a reblogging monster and naturally, i get distracted from actually blogging.
I've been a sick hermit at home lately (hello, winter!) and have been catching up on lots of old movies and books. I even finished a puzzle in one night (as my last resort to avoid more studying) after two months of putting it off. I stare in disdain and cringe every time i look at the three missing pieces from the set, which i know will ceaselessly bug me until I pack up the apartment and not have to see it on a daily basis. I shall look into jigsawdoctor.com...
In the midst of this cramming-for-finals period, I feel sorry for myself for not having a better work area. I finally admit that a home is not a home without a proper desk. I have been shifting "work spots" every thirty minutes- from my bed to my couch and finally, my kitchen counter (which is driving me insane because i have been getting really tense shoulders from sitting on a tall stool for hours). I remember debating to myself in IKEA two years ago on whether or not to invest in a desk. Sure, this may sound stupidly obvious but I wasn't sure if getting another desk on top of a kitchen counter already in place would make my studio even more cramped as it already is. But clearly, I have made the wrong choice seeing as I dread lugging myself to the library in such unbearable coldness these coupla days. Although I have to say Mugar is doing me good as it keeps me away from distractions at home (my bed, for the most part) and I get to watch people in day-old sweatshirts with minimum make-up and groggy hair (myself included, apart from the groggy hair part). Yes, I am very easily amused.
A French final now stands between me and my flight home on Monday. Although its nice to have these two buffer days to study after just taking two finals, I wish I could simply get this one over with and out of the way. I am so much more productive with less time. I've used up this one day more for an interview and running errands than for studying.
As I anticipate to go home, i'm also bucket-listing for 2011. My top five to do's are:
1) learn the guitar
2) apply to non-profits abroad after grad
3) learn korean
4) learn golf
5) run a marathon
