Another photobooth picture? But this time I have an excuse! I sold my camera yesterday and when I went to go buy a new one today, they were out of stock! I ordered online, put 2 day shipping & still saved 50 bucks! Even better news? I'm getting it tomorrow, not in two days.
after seein a good friend of mines myspace photo putting faces in a photobooth picture strip, it set my tiny mind a thinkin it might be fun to do somethin similar with lil, give me a chance to do all that experimentation with her expressions ive been meanibg to do for like months now, ha

We decided, spur of the moment, to go see Night at the Museum a second time, only this time with the whole family. One giant tub of popcorn later I dragged them all to the photobooth for some silliness. I LOVE photobooths. They had me laughing so hard I was almost in tears. hehe
Here is a bit of trivia: What movie features an odd photobooth photo collection? It is one of my favorite movies.

Je me photographie en mouvement en ce moment : je laisse L’appareil ouvert pendant 10, 20, 30 secondes et me promène devant : au lieu de prévisualiser ma photographie je fais un peu ce que font les peintres gestuels mais avec mon corps. J’avais commencé ce travail à saint-Felix (où je disposais de l’espace merveilleux de l’atelier de Pierre) et maintenant je commence un petit peu à savoir à partir de quelles vitesses de déplacement je marque la pellicule. je suis donc mon propre pinceau ; et à vrai dire je me suis réinscrite à un cours de danse – à la fois pour continuer ce travail en photographie avec précision et pour m’entretenir pour mon asthme."

sorry, folks, i suppose you might have thought i had disappeared. working on various projects, and most stressfully, doing taxes. not that my taxes are that stressful, but i get my mother's ready for the accountant, and that is stressful.
anyway, today is the day of Metrolina Extravaganza, which comes twice a year to the Charlotte area. it's a hit-or-miss show, and every year there seem to be fewer dealers. every once in a while you get lucky. these seven photobooths are contained in little brown envelope stamped "AUTOMATIC ENTERPRISES, INC. 1575 B'WAY, N. Y. C."
since photo booths often come in strips of four, i wonder if there weren't an eighth example that was clipped off and given to a boyfriend, or someone other.
And one, back in the saddle in my office, actually working today. After being on hiatus for much of this stint, it feels absolutely wonderful to be back "appearing" as I feel.

Considering what a little nip and tuck might do for the more visible bits of me. Frankly, Ive got plenty of skin to lose, and wouldnt miss an inch or two off the sides. Of course, the interior still functions like a car built in the 50's; I keep changing the oil, but it just feels slower and slower....
