Not sure why, but others are receiving their copies of the new book before me. My original proof, ordered before any other orders were placed, won't be here until the 9th. Megan got hers today; I schtole it from her. Muahhah!
taken via macbook photobooth, because Dorita is getting re-charged adn I am utterly exhausted atm
Today was a pretty eventful day, I went to Penndot (PA DMV) to take my permit test so I can be a legal driver in PA. I went in there at 12:05 PM and left at 1:36 PM. As I sat there, this boy was getting utterly annoying and everytime he talked, it made me want to shake him so hard and tell him to knock it off (okay so I am not that scary in person, so what?). He was one of those kids who every single time he talked, it sounded like he was whining the entire time. Made me want to stab my ears out. I hyped up myself up to get the nerves out of me and in the end I ended up failing. But my Dad told me that most people fail their first time. Idk if he was just trying to get me to feel better or what.
The rest of the day was spent helping my dad buy shelves, build it and picking up a newspaper to get a head start on my homework assignments. (Btw who gives homework over Spring Break?)
I still can't believe Spring Break is OVER. UGH. I spent most of it sick as a dog. :o/ [And then I find out that I can't count or do simple multiplication bc my uploads were numbered wrong and what not. This is what I get for getting day/night cold and flu meds.]
my first Photobooth Friday: digging up some favorites of us from the archives
This was taken May 2009, at the (then, newly opened) Ace Hotel in NYC. I had been calling/stalking for months, trying to figure out when they'd open, whether they'd have a photobooth (a la Portland and Palm Springs), when I could come use their photoboooth...
The $5 price tag and the lack of dollar bill slot (credit card? what??) aside, it's a beautiful booth.
Also pretty amazing that Stumptown, the Breslin and Opening Ceremony are all right there. A patch of amazingness in midtown.
