Tom Petty..Full moon fever.
The album is noted for being heavily influnced by Jeff Lynne, It also features Mike Campbell, Roy Orbison and George Harrison in fact the only Wilberry missing is Bob Dylan..
The songs see Petty paying dues to his influences with a Byrds track [feelin a whole lot better] and a nod to Del Shannon [Running down a dream.]...They dont come much better than this.

The autumn colors make be history after hurricane Gonzalo moves through tonight and tomorrow.Looking like mostly rain with winds topping out at 80 km/hr for St. john's. I'm taking some photos at the Cape to Cabot road race tomorrow morning, the rain makes it a pain. A link to the race: www.capetocabot.com/
A nice tribute to the King's 1974 Dodge Charger, considered one of the most historically important cars in NASCAR history.

The Shirogami (White #1 HRC: 61) carbon steel is easy for me to put on a sharp edge using Japanese wet stones. Although most use the Chefs Knife when cooking, the Long Petty suits me well.

I was planning to do an epic Holi powder battle photoshoot, so while visiting Sam Petty in Austin, TX, we decided to test out a bit of the Holi powder.
This was on the first day of her last year of college, and even though she scrubbed herself raw after the shoot, not all the color came out. So she had to walk into her first senior classes looking orange & purple.

Tom Petty: "No One’s Got Christ More Wrong Than The Christians"
Veteran rocker Tom Petty isn’t pulling any punches with his new song “Playing Dumb.”
In an interview with Billboard magazine, Petty said that he wrote the song about the decades of child sex abuse in the Catholic church and the elaborate lengths that priests and their leaders have gone to cover up the crime
“I’m fine with whatever religion you want to have, but it can’t tell anybody it’s OK to kill people, and it can’t abuse children systematically for God knows how many years.”
