Before the Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Edition arrived, I got in the Ebay win of another Dell 1905FP monitor (right), and an extra Ergotron LX desk mount arm (right front of desk), and set them up, just to get a sense of things. I didn't want to yet go through the work of disassembling the small ShuttleX PC setup, which is on the monitor shelf behind the new monitor in this pic, blocking the point where I'd later install the LX arm. So, I put the arm on the front of the desk, the only other place it fit at the time, and swiveled the monitor around to simulate where it would be. Not too shabby. It has no signal to it at this point, again, as the Matrox TH2G isn't in yet.
A little low if I go to 3-way SLI, and not the best reviews (some noise in power, and some problems with peaks) but well built and stable.
I have to clean off that monitor shelf, move the current 2 Ergotron arms over so the right one is centered, remove the mini PC from the shelf behind the monitors in this image, probably dust everything, and then move the other LX arm on the front of the desk to the monitor shelf, and hook everything up through the Matrox TripleHead2Go.
7200 RPM, but only 5.4 out of 7.9 when benchmarked by Windows 7. Does it want a solid state boot drive?
I used this desktop for a few days. It was the right blend of brightness, colors, scenery, and subtleness. I'm pretty picky about wallpapers, as I seem rather overly affected by visuals. Art school, maybe.
