The end of the walk ... and the end of a brilliant day!

An autumn walk in Angmering Park, near Patching, West Sussex.

We all go though a purple patch.

My Eagle patch with our old Troop 752 patch. I think I was one of the last in the troop to get the patch...it was given to us when we reached 1st class.

Patch helps me check the road ahead

Patch was looking up at a ball I was going to throw for him...and I did :)

You may have seen the "Secret Squirrel" patch around. There's even one clearly visible in the movie Zero Dark Thirty. You can get them, in many colors and materials from Milspec Monkey.

But I designed them. And for a few years, bought hundreds at a time, took orders from locals and obscure military/government/police forums (the US Secret Service were particular fans) and mailed them out. Eventualy, I got tired of this, so gave it to Money Boy to deal with instead.

These photos are not mine, but of people who bought them back in the day. There is no PERSEC violation as far as I can tell plus they are all pretty old.

9 patch finished! Feb 2014

This was a pumpkin patch tent on SR 54. These are typical down in Florida because we can't grow our own pumpkins. Pumpkins are shipped in from other states, then set up in tents for sale.

Four sim theater complex completed December 2008, as a venue for various social, commercial and entertainment events.

View of main lobby and entrance court. The building was placed at 3000 meters up for technical reasons relating to the computer load of rendering large numers of avatars and special effects during events and shows.

Moda sample pack made into a 9 patch, cut into quarters and rearranged.

She went on a little trip and when she came back she was covered in fleas and weighed only 5 lbs (Cause the fleas were suckin her dry!) BUT she no longer has any fleas, her fur has grown back where it fell out, and she has gained at least 2 pounds! The doc put her on a fattening up diet a week ago and she looks great and is already running around the house like a mad woman!

This patch of grass is pretty isolated from everything else.

Crochet baby hat wig - her mommy made a big Cabbage patch Doll box for her, too.

4 rows of loop stitch for the curls and spiral korkers for the pigtails on a little beanie

Trampled vines in Fritz's squash.

It would have been great if he had dug a pit here and those little brats had fallen in. *evil grin*

Vandals trashed random plots in the p-patch last night. This is the first vandalism I've experienced at the p-patch in my three years gardening there. I was told that I must have a halo over me because all of my plots were untouched. (I've always said you should leave some weeds. So far I've escaped any petty vegetable thefts) Nonetheless, it's disappointing. Gardening takes time and money, labor and love. I always maintained that I'd rather someone steal an onion and zucchini and eat it then deal with vandalism because the latter is just so pointless.
