Hi ya! My name is Patches! I am a young, energetic, happy-go-lucky dog in need of a forever home. I love to play with toys. I will romp and run, tossing them around in the air, tail always wagging with a big, heartwarming grin on my face. I get along well with other dogs, especially those who will play with me. I also have a sweet, friendly, loving personality. I enjoy being petted and told I'm a good boy. I have been around cats and I pretty much ignore them. I am a good dog who is looking for a home where people have the time and energy to spend with me, play with me and shower me with love and kisses. Could that be you? Apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance, one session with a certified behavior trainer and microchip. I am that merry wanderer of the night.
I jest to Oberon and make him smile
When I a fat and bean-fed horse beguile,
Neighing in likeness of a filly foal:
And sometime lurk I in a gossip's bowl,
In very likeness of a roasted crab,
And when she drinks, against her lips I bob
And on her wither'd dewlap pour the ale.
--Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream
I got this patch at the Concombri Zombi show at Chapa’s in Brownsville, TX. Still haven’t figured out where to stick it, so for the time being, it lives on my bass.

The bare patch on the hillside is where a tornado touched down in Knoxville on Memorial Day.
Here's an article in the local paper.
This is rather blurry, but very cute. Patches thought I had a peanut in my hand. He apparently had never seen a camera up close before!
Here’s a better look at the gold and silver embroidered patch!
Also after enduring a snapped thumb nail and numerous pin holes in all fingers, but I’ve finally made a one off, hand sewn snapback for my cap collection!
Patches had surgery yesterday ---------she got a cut or something that got abcessed and her neck and jaw was very swollen -----sandi took her to the vet and they had to operate-------cut out the abcess--------she now sports a nice scar lots of sutures and two or three drains --------drains and sutures to be removed later providing she heals with no complications -------she's got anibiotics and pain meds--------needless to say she's kind of pissy about being handled too much but her surgery has to be cleaned two or three times a day ------she seems to be resting comfortably in between ------------------------------
