I recently learned that a Snowy Owl was spotted in the village

cemetery. I first found the owl sitting on the ground, just to the right of this tombstone. Since then, I've been fortunate to find it again. Each time, in the same general area of the cemetery. I'm guessing it has found a peaceful place and that the hunting there is good.

Please note: I removed names from the tombstone in Photoshop.

B&P 3101 leads the Southbound turn to Silver Springs at DL&W Jct in Pavilion, NY on December 19, 2019. It's hard to tell, but there used to be a bridge over the tracks about where the 4th unit is. The DL&W crossed this ex BR&P line on that bridge. There was also once an interchange here too, all has vanished long ago. I used to like to photograph the Southbound RS-97 Chessie train from the bridge.

At Bergeron's Exotic Animal Sanctuary in Picton, Ontario, Canada one can see all sorts of animals and from seeing the reaction of this cougar one can only assume that they start to tire of having their photos taken all day long, day in day out.
