This car was on display in the paddock at the Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 2000. It's a 1914 Willys-Overland Model 79 Speedster and has a 4-cylinder inline 4,180cc engine Willys-Overland was formed when John Willys bought the Overland car company in 1908 and subsequently renamed it the Willys-Overland Motor Company. It's noticeable that the car has right-hand drive, as did all the company's cars built prior to 1915 when they switched to left-hand drive. The board in front of the car says:

Ask residents why they chose this Kansas City suburb and you hear one thing over and over: the schools.

Other draws include a 300-acre arboretum and botanical garden, a biweekly farmers' market, and a brand-new 12-field soccer complex, which hosts local and national tournaments.

Overland Park's biggest challenge in recent years has been from its largest employer, Sprint. The company laid off more than 3,000 people here from 2007 to 2009.

But the town has had enough success attracting new employers that its jobless rate is still well below the national average. What's more, a division of J.P. Morgan plans to move 800 positions here early next year. --Veronica Crews

This 1903 2-cylinder Overland, belongs to a long time friend of mine. He was a too young for WWII, and was in high school, at that time. He was out helping with a WWII scrap-drive, an elderly lady contributed "the old car in the barn". This is it! It never made it to the scrap yard. It is now a repeat winner of AACA Gold. Seen at the AACA Grand National Show, Moline, Illinois, June 29, 2013.

Si está marca no os suena, no es de extrañar pero su nombre a partir de 1926 si puede que os suene: Willys Overland. Sí es la marca que aún perdura como Jeep.

If the name does not sound familiar, it is not surprising but its next name might sound more familiar: Willys Overland. Yes, it is the marque that survives as Jeep.

This is a fully self-contained robust overland vehicle made with LEGO bricks that offers luxury off-grid living. It was modeled after the Earthroamer LTI. Built on a Ford F-550 chassis, this camper will take your mini-figs to places other vehicles would never dare.

The interior offers generous space to relax, eat, play games, work, or watch movies. The over-cab bunk makes a great lounge area for reading, watching TV or listening to music, while the main cabin space provides seating for up to 4 mini-figs. There is also plenty of storage for food, clothes, and gear.
