Not normally a fan of HDR but as my camera has the function thought I'd try it out. This image was shot down by the side on nottingham canal near the city center.
Rifugio Auronzo near the Tre Cime Lavaredo. The clouds in the valley took most of the light pollution away.

The Spa Pool at Wyadup Rocks in the south west region of Western Australia is a popular location with tourists and photographers.
Not the most technically correct photo I took, but then what I care most often for at the moment is the mood and atmosphere of the scene.

I think this is the last picture from my amazing shoot with Sherrie. I love her look so much and I kinda think here she looks like a fairy, so I wanted to play with that idea and create like a magical dream land around her.
It's the last night of my holiday up here in Scotland and although I'm a bit disspointed i didn't get to shoot a concept i've been sooo busy editing and researching that I just didn't have the time. I suppose it's nice just to have a break too...
In other news... I made a Facebook Photography page, so if you'd like to go and take a look at that, that would be great :)

Some wonderful hill fog running over the Ochill Hills at sunrise, a few days ago, with the Wallace Monument just breaking through (A 3 shot panoramic stitch).
The monsoons are kicking in and the tide timings have changed, only problem during the monsoons is that there is a lot of dirt in the water and the color of the water is actually brown, had to reduce the yellow saturation to get rid of most of the yellow.
The good thing about the monsoons is the swells are rougher and slightly bigger than normal now that is something I like.
The edges are dark since I wanted to try using both my 3 stop grad and a 3 stop rev grad filter to see what happens, tried lightening it but didn't work.
I am not 100 % happy with the edit and may re edit at a later date, however would love to hear your feedback on what you think.
Thanks and have an awesome day.

From a sunrise shoot at Birubi Head near Anna Bay, NSW, Australia. The weather gods provided another dull grey morning as has often been the case of late.
As always, thanks for any views, comments or faves on any of my images!
sometimes things get so full that they are overflowing; flooded; covering every space. I suppose that could be something unwanted, or it could be something that ends up being very beautiful... like this space i happened upon today. i was hoping to get a shot on the boardwalk... but clearly it is out of commission b/c it is overflowing with water... flooded. :) and for me, that was a good thing!
Newcastle Baths at sunrise. This was plan B this morning, the tide was far to high for the first location and only just high enough for this location. Great to get some nice colour this morning, its been a while for me!

Morning Glory Pool is located in the Upper Geyser Basin and it’s probably the best known of its pools. According to a park brochure, the long favored destination for visitors was named for its remarkable likeness to its namesake flower. Unfortunately, this previously vibrant blue pool has fallen victim to vandalism; people have thrown tons of coins and other debris into the pool. Much of it had become embedded in its side and vent reducing water circulation and resulting in lower water temperatures. These lower temperatures have in turn led to the orange and yellow thermophiles that now thrive. Toward the center, one can still see a hint of the blue which once prevailed.
The color of the geothermal pools is determined by the heat-loving organisms that thrive in these boiling waters. The hottest waters give rise to thermophiles that produce the color blue while progressively cooler waters (relatively speaking) give rise to greens, yellows, red, browns and finally black. This rainbow of colors is particularly prominent in the pool overflow paths where the gradation of these colors may be seen as the waters get further away from their source of heat. An example of this may be seen at the edge of the pool and toward the top of this image where the overflow water winds its way into the woods.
This panorama was created using Photoshop CS6 to stitch together horizontally three portrait oriented images captured from the boardwalk in front of the pool.

An impromptu trip to Parton again last night on the off chance that sunset would be a decent one...it wasn't. I decided to stick around and get a few shots anyway and spotted this composition as the incoming tide started to break over the rocks.
