This piece was created using a dichroic pendant from Mona Hair. Mona has done bead weaving and lampwork for years, and wanted to start working with dichroic glass. She had all the supplies, yet couldn't bring herself to start the work because she was afraid she was going to ruin the glass. A friend of hers gave her some dichroic and said, "Use this, and don't worry about wasting it."
This is one of her first pieces, which she gave to me so that I could design some jewelry around it.

One of the main issues with overcoming shyness as well as social anxiety is that the solution you try first is not always the solution that works for you. This is a major issue as if you suffer from these problems you also take failure, or what you perceive as failure, very harshly. The truth is you need to keep on searching for your perfect solution and not give up when one of the solutions don’t work for you!
