Night-time activity at Castlecroft Yard in Bury on the 19th February 2012 during a 3P20 Parcels Group photo-charter as a 1946 Leyland Beaver brewery dray wagon laden with beer barrels waits alongside Peckett & Sons 1915-built saddle tank no. 1370 'May'. This locomotive was formerly used in the Yates Duxbury & Sons paper mill sidings at Heap Bridge, Bury, whilst the wagon was once operated by Beverley Brothers, Brewers of Wakefield.
Working overtime in the wilderness, big change from being in an office all day. no cell service felt good.
The last regular season game of the 2011-2012 season for the San Jose Sharks. It's also one of the strangest games I've been to from an emotional standpoint. Phoenix had won earlier in the night taking the division crown thus making this game essentially worthless. The winner would play the St. Louis Blues as the 7 seed and the loser would take on the best team in the NHL record wise: the Vancouver Canucks. Knowing the Blues system destroyed the Sharks in 4 of 4 games meant no one really wanted to play them, while Vancouver knocked us out last year and was playing well... didn't really want to play them either.
So when the Kings went up 2-0 in the first two periods no one in the crowd seemed to really care and it was on pace to be the most jovial loss I had ever attended.
Suddenly the Sharks decided they wanted to play and scored 2 goals in the first 8 minutes and held on to force OT. Entering overtime it was a wild atmosphere of "why not win, we'll have to beat both Vancouver and St. Louis to get back to the conference finals anyway". 3:58 in Dan Boyle ripped one past Jonathan Quick, scoring in retrospect probably the only unwanted goal in Sharks history. The Blues would go on to top us in 5, while the Kings proved Vancouver was beatable and that they would have knocked off the Blues for us as well. Damn.
Oh well that's the Sharks for you: Can beat nearly any team they feel like in the regular season. Doesn't feel like it in the playoffs.

I avoided chores today by standing on the soccer field for 6 hours watching Maryland State Cup Games. Cara's team won their opening round game with this overtime goal. Emily flicked this ball past the goalie on a corner kick in the second half of OT.
My employer has educational opportunities all the time, but they're all during the day, so I usually can't go to them. We have to have so many continuing ed hours per year, so I stayed two hours past my shift so that I could go to one. I meant to take a better photo when I got home, but by the time I got home I just wanted to sleep. so.
Lame.

As Toontown stays, it breaks our hearts to see Big Thunder Ranch become what will soon be a memory as the new Star Wars themed land will take its place. It will be sad to see some our favorite friends and food leave the parks such as the seasonal roundups, Woody's All American Roundup, Woody's Halloween Roundup, Santa's Reindeer Roundup, and the Jingle Jangle Jamboree. But with enough courage we can stand up right and be strong as Disneyland will always be Disneyland Forever. What are your thoughts on the new Star Wars themed land taking over the Big Thunder Ranch?

This left Central Garage as a service 4 to Oxgangs, off service to Princes St Scott Monument, on service 4 to Oxgangs then change to a 16 to Elm Row and back to Central Garage.
Remember: Having sex at work is as undesirable as doing overtime in bed.
