Taken from the summit of Carn Hyddgen (height 566m) to the north of Pumlumon. The cairn (carn, carnedd, plural carneddi in Welsh) in the image is one of two bronze age cairns known as Carn Gwilym and are approx 10 feet in height.
Had a wonderful afternoon at the British Wildlife Centre with Owls and Hedgehog in the Bluebells.
I have hundreds of images to go through but am a bit short on time to sort them out at the moment.
Overlooking the Atlantic ocean, Azenhas do Mar is a beautiful town located on Portugal’s west coast.
Shot with the Olympus XZ-1 outside of Wilmington, Vermont on April 5, 2014. Winter isn't dead just yet, at least not here.
It snowed Saturday afternoon and evening, but by mid-morning on Sunday, the clouds were breaking, revealing Upper Yosemite Falls just outside our Lodge door.
I always welcome and appreciate your comments, but please NO Multiple Invites, Flickriver Badges or Animated Badges with your comment! I simply cannot give them the attention they deserve.
Taken from an opening in a karst outcrop in Halong Bay, Vietnam. We'd entered the cave at sea level in bright sun shine. After exploring the cave we came out at high level just as the sun was setting.

one year ago today, i decided to start a 365 project. i went outside in the wet and cold, put my camera on a car, set the timer, and posed. a remote, 2 tripods (one broke :( ), a 50mm 1.8 lens, a film camera, and a fujifilm instax, here i am. taking a picture a day was so much harder than i thought it would be, but i did it! some days i cheated and posted an old picture, and some days i didn't try at all, but i still had one picture a day for a year.
i really really want to thank anyone who has ever commented/faved/written me a testimonial. they mean so much. i can't believe i've come this far and very much appreciate the support i've gotten.
this may not be my most amazing photo but i'm proud of it.
if you read all that, thank you :)
I am flattered when you invite my photo to your group, but please don't post more then 3 group invites.
Not the Carpenters or Earth, Wind & Fire but Great Britain's National Bird, the Robin. This gorgeous Robin wasn't half belting out a tune to rival, or even better, any chart topper at RSPB Old Moor the other day.
The Robin is one of the few birds in the UK that sing all year round. This is due to the importance of holding winter territories. Only for a short period in late summer while they are moulting and inconspicuous do they stop singing. Both sexes sing.
Autumn and spring songs are distinctly different. The autumn song starts after the moult, from late summer onwards. It is more subdued and melancholy in its tone, while the spring song is powerful, confident and upbeat.
The spring song can start as early as mid-December, reaching full force in spring. Its purpose is two-fold: to defend a territory and to attract a mate. Therefore, the spring song is far more powerful in males.

I was lucky it wasn't that cold outside, i still was freezing my fingers off, but it wasn't like -19c more like -3. So i was able to take this picture, without making my hands frozen!

Van Morrison - Whenever God Shines His Light
Whenever God shines his light on me
Opens up my eyes so I can see
When I look up in the darkest night
I know everything's going to be alright
In deep confusion, in great despair
When I reach out for him he is there
When I am lonely as I can be
I know that God shines his light on me
Reach out for him, he'll be there
With him your troubles you can share
If you live the life you love
You get the blessing from above
He heals the sick and heals the lame
Says you can do it too in Jesus name
He'll lift you up and turn you around
And put your feet back on higher ground
Reach out for him, he'll be there
With him your troubles you can share
You can use his higher power
In every day and any hour
He heals the sick and heals the lame
Says you can do it too in Jesus name
He'll lift you up and turn you around
And put your feet back on higher ground.

Weary Road is located outside of Evansville, Wisconsin and is reportedly a haunted area with lots of paranormal activity. I do like the way the tall trees line the road and was never bothered by any "spirits" when I took this about a year ago. This i s from the archives as with our thirty five below wind chills today, I don't plan on going anywhere to check out the latest snowfall with my camera!
And Bubba NZ, you can breathe now! :)

My Photoblog- My Third Eye...!
Description says the concept:)
I was travelling at that time in TGV (french high speed train) at Paris-Brussels route approx. 170 km/hr.....Outside was spectacular..lots of drama in the sky and was having its spectacular view thanks to the fields stretching miles after miles...Fortunately, i was not sleeping and had the camera with me :D...It was just a magical moment to see by eye sun and clouds are creating an amazing hole in the sky
[captured from train window, proof is in the picture;)]...
My consecutively 2nd explore..yeppie:)

Taken outside Guymon Oklahoma on May 31'st, this was the third and last image I have of this lightning storm striking the ground. It was an incredible experience being able to watch such a fierce previously tornadic storm such as this, without being rained or hailed on whatsoever.
…and it was indeed dumping larger than golf ball sized hail when I shot this... but only off in the distance under the cell.
