Found this pair south of Des Moines, Iowa and appeared they may be in use at least for storing junk. Happy Truck Thursday!
I'm posting an old photo because I'm snowed in right now and may be for awhile so I can't get out to take any new photos.
Sometimes leaving is the best act of love and care you can give. Otherwise staying would build up hate that will destroy the both of you.

Ich Liebe Wölfe, vor allem im Winter finde ich es spannend diese aussergewöhnlichen Tiere zu Fotografieren. es gibt nicht viele Tiere um die sich soviele Mythen und Legenden drehen.
I love wolves, especially in winter, I find it exciting these exceptional animals to photograph. there are not many animals around which so many myths and legends live.

Information: , surrounded by a wide moat, stands at the edge of the graceful Mastbos. The castle is first mentioned in documents dated 1554. In 1614 it was converted into a hunting lodge. Kasteel Bouvigne borders on a beautiful garden. Nothing is known of landscape gardening in the16th century. The present garden is open to the public and integrates French, German and English styles of the 20th century. Bouvigne castle is a charming building outside Breda, in the Mastbos forest. Its present look dates mainly from the 17th century. For a long time, the princes of Orange used it as their summer house. The castle, that stands in the water, was built in a typical renaissance style. Its beautiful gardens are open to the public.
Located at 4946 Dundas Street West is this Village of Islington mural, titled The Pub with No Beer, by John Kuna, 2009. The accompanying plaque for this mural says:
Coordinates: 43.64814 -79.52947
Map
This mural depicts a scene from the prohibition era (ca. 1928) with a pop truck rounding up empty bottles outside of the old Islington Hotel, which was once a local watering hole. At the time Burnhamthorpe Road was on the west side of the hotel and the hotel's drive-shed stretched across what is now the intersection of Dundas St. West and Burnhamthorpe Road and Cordova Avenue.

Le Mont-Saint-Michel ) is an island commune in Normandy, France. It is located about one kilometre (0.6 miles) off the country's northwestern coast, at the mouth of the Couesnon River near Avranches. 100 hectares (247 acres) in size, the island has a population of 44 (2009).[1]
The island has held strategic fortifications since ancient times and since the 8th century AD has been the seat of the monastery from which it draws its name. The structural composition of the town exemplifies the feudal society that constructed it: on top, God, the abbey and monastery; below, the great halls; then stores and housing; and at the bottom, outside the walls, houses for fishermen and farmers.
Its unique position — on an island just 600 metres from land — made it accessible at low tide to the many pilgrims to its abbey, but defensible as an incoming tide stranded, drove off, or drowned, would-be assailants. The Mont remained unconquered during the Hundred Years' War; a small garrison fended off a full attack by the English in 1433.[2] The reverse benefits of its natural defence were not lost on Louis XI, who turned the Mont into a prison. Thereafter the abbey began to be used more regularly as a jail during the Ancien Régime.
One of France's most recognizable landmarks, Mont Saint-Michel and its bay are part of the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites[3] and more than 3 million people visit it each year.
Found this old farm building while out on my bike Friday night the light was fading fast as cloud was moving in so I must return and shoot again, I also have a close up to share
I spotted this section of the path that goes large enough to pitch my tent. Conditions were fantastic, nice and warm with only a gentle breeze.
I stayed in this place for two nights, enjoying the changing soubleties of the landscape of this wonderful place.

I don't think I have ever unpacked and setup my gear as fast as I did this morning. Must remember to organise my bag before the next shoot.
Although the temperatures are still high outside, the falling of rain & leaves can only mean one thing - FALL is almost here, & I couldn't be happier! Something about the smell of burning leaves, the sound of them crunching under your feet, the taste of pumpkin, & the colors of autumn just makes me fall deeper in love with this season every year.

End of the day. The sun has just set over Christchurch Harbour leaving silhouettes of trees and the background of Hengistbury Head.
In this area many moons ago, the Moa roamed freely. A flightless native bird of New Zealand now extinct, standing over 3 metres tall. The Moa were a great food source for the indigenous Maori and Moriori people of New Zealand and their bones were used for tools.

Whew, seems like I've been away from Flickr for ages but it's been so crazy busy with the trip out to Colorado, work, a family trip to the mountains and other random things. I'm going to try to catchup on a lot of Flickr tonight... So anyway...here's one of my favorites from the trip out there. My first trip to Colorado so I hitched up with David Kingham and his Fall Colors workshop...he knows the best spots :). We hit the color pretty near perfect although we had some days with clouds shrouding the peaks of the San Juan range. I had an awesome time to say the least. This is a 6-shot pano from Crystal Lake just off the Million Dollar Highway. I tried to get it in while the color was starting to show in the sky...not perfect, but I'll take it. I hope everyone's week is off to a great start!
