Overlooking the Atlantic ocean, Azenhas do Mar is a beautiful town located on Portugal’s west coast.
Shot with the Olympus XZ-1 outside of Wilmington, Vermont on April 5, 2014. Winter isn't dead just yet, at least not here.
I had the fortune to get up at 430am and drive to Jordan lake just south of me in time to see nature's painting on the lake just before sunrise! I am thankful for these glimpses into nature's treasures often unseen. Have a great week my friends! ~Sam

Last week I decided to head up to Mt.Tam around sunset. Upon arriving I was greeted with beautiful fog just coming in and beautiful clouds everywhere.

one year ago today, i decided to start a 365 project. i went outside in the wet and cold, put my camera on a car, set the timer, and posed. a remote, 2 tripods (one broke :( ), a 50mm 1.8 lens, a film camera, and a fujifilm instax, here i am. taking a picture a day was so much harder than i thought it would be, but i did it! some days i cheated and posted an old picture, and some days i didn't try at all, but i still had one picture a day for a year.
i really really want to thank anyone who has ever commented/faved/written me a testimonial. they mean so much. i can't believe i've come this far and very much appreciate the support i've gotten.
this may not be my most amazing photo but i'm proud of it.
if you read all that, thank you :)
A ver si me pongo las pilas, y voy subiendo fotos.

I stopped off here on the way home after work hoping to catch a good sunset. However, the clouds were not in the right place so I took this shot instead. Long exposure of 40 seconds with 10 stop ND filter attached to 10-22mm lens.
During our week's holiday in Scotland we stayed just outside Dunbar in East Lothian, just off the south-east coast. One place that we absolutely fell in love with was the tiny fishing village of St Abb's, which is about three miles up the coast from Eyemouth. The village was originally known as Coldingham Shore, the name St Abb's being adopted in the 1890s. The new name was derived from St Abb's Head, a rocky promontory located to the north of the village, itself named after the 7th century saint Æbbe of Coldingham.
The sea around the village is unusually clear, in contrast to the more silt-laden coastal waters further to the north or south. These clear waters and the spectacular underwater scenery resulted in Britain's first Voluntary Marine Reserve being established at St Abb's. The Marine Reserve was established on 18 August 1984 by David Bellamy.
The top of the rock is covered in native NZ cabbage trees, time must have swept the seeds up there. An amazing place to visit and capture. The landscape is full of of rolling hills and rocky outcrops. A photographer friend and I were treated to an incredible sunset as well on the evening we decided to visit.

Cold but dry weather for a little walk around the Obersee in the Bielefeld area.
The Obersee is an artificial lake outside the city of Bielefeld in East Westphalia. The local folks love the place and especially throughout weekends it is great fun to have a walk around the water.

Taken outside Guymon Oklahoma on May 31'st, this was the third and last image I have of this lightning storm striking the ground. It was an incredible experience being able to watch such a fierce previously tornadic storm such as this, without being rained or hailed on whatsoever.
…and it was indeed dumping larger than golf ball sized hail when I shot this... but only off in the distance under the cell.

More and more, I try to appreciate the prairie on an intimate scale as well as a grand one. The diversity and beauty of the plants in a prairie is astounding. In this small plot you can see purple coneflower, coreopsis, prairie clover, round-headed bush clover, compass plant, spiderwort, and prairie dropseed grass. And that's just the plants I can identify. I don't know how the original Midwest homesteaders did it. I could never have put a plow to this.
Beautiful to the eye, but deadly to the unaware.
Sorry for not commenting on your streams much lately..I have been really busy on a huge post processing job..Will catch up as soon as I can..
