Tuesday was the warmest day of the year for us so far, so I decided to take a stroll up our local hills at sunset to see what I could find. I was not the only one and I found these 2 young ladies enjoying the moment too.
The Island (Dutch: Het Eiland) is a street and neighborhood in the port of Dutch place Enkhuizen.
Originally this was the island in the harbor which stood the city tavern, near the Drommedaris and outside the city gates.
On the west side was this lock separating the water of the Zuiderzee, now the IJsselmeer, and the Inland ports of the Outer port.
The city tavern was demolished in 1958 due to dilapidation. Nowadays, at the location of the city tavern a few residential houses.
This is what we saw during our Cycling holiday in Noord-Holland, the Netherlands, where we have cycled through the beautiful landscape.

If you look carefully, you might see airplane among the clouds. And, it seems as if the airplane was trying to outrun the storm... :)
Have a pleasant day, everyone...
...when boats seem to float on clouds and wild dreams in reality.
Thank you all for your wonderful support. You’ re great!

Love to see cherry blossoms with golden tone during sunset. Glorious and brilliant as golden reflection on the river. I will be leaving for Japan again. Destination is Tokyo. Looking forward to seeing the cherry blossoms in Tokyo.

Because of the strong wind, the observatory outside the lighthouse was closed.
In the evening, the key was opened and I went up to the outside observatory,
The tripod was useless, and only this one was able to take without swinging.
Have a wonderful weekend!

A macro of some tiny fruiting bodies of a slime mould that my mum found at David Marshall Lodge in Aberfoyle a few weeks ago. We both took photos to compare; I wasn't that impressed with mine, to be honest! The dof was really limited hand-holding in dark woodland. I'd love to have another go at this, with better light, and a tripod.
Greetings my friends. I would like to wish you a Happy Weekend and a good week ahead.
I have been off line a bit due to a shortage of time and feeling a couple of degrees under the weather.
I hope you are all well and life is being kind to you.
Take care and have fun.

I do not know why my imagination more and more projects in these unexplored worlds, perhaps in this world is so hard to dream that I need to do it anyway, elsewhere ....
I find that there is always a need to explore, inside and outside of us....
I hope you like it, because it is becoming a real set :)
I wish you all a good week remaining, creative and dreamy ! : )

Normally you see a church only from the outside.
But I have shown you the church from the inside first.
"San Margherita di Antiochia" (1318), the church of Vernazza directlly located right on the harbor.
Over the years and centuries wind and weather have attacked the colors of the facades.
Nevertheless or precisely for this reason Vernazza is so beautiful.

Maligne Lake
Jasper National Park
Alberta
Canada
Maligne Lake is the largest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies and is nestled in a ring of snow-and-ice-capped mountains.
The lake is famed for the colour of its water, the surrounding peaks, the three glaciers visible from the lake and Spirit Island, a frequently photographed islet.
Maligne Lake was originally known as "Chaba Imne" or Beaver Lake by the native tribes who lived near Jasper. In 1907 Mary Schaeffer, a wealthy Quaker from Philadelphia, learned of the mysterious lake. Following a map obtained from Samson Beaver, a Stoney tribesman, Mary found the lake and later wrote about her adventures, making the area a popular tourist attraction in years to follow.
Unfortunately it was raining cats and dogs when we arrived there in the morning.. Later that day I went back and could catch a glimpse of light between the showers.

UN'EMOZIONE PER SEMPRE – EROS RAMAZZOTTI (An Emotion (That Lasts) Forever)
UNEQUAL MEASURES OF LOVE
Though I love you I cannot stay
there is so much I want to do
please know it is better this way
for this is all that I can promise you
I will keep your love in my heart forever
the fire from our golden hour will keep me warm
on a cold Winter's night when the snow falls down like melting stars
I will remember you gently and recall your soft tears
I could never have made you happy
I pray that you see it this way now
I have given all I had to give you
and I would have fallen down in the innocence of your eyes
I couldn't bear to see you hurt
so it's better to have ended it this soon
better you think of me kindly than to think me a fool
please don't wait for me in the darkness
you are so pure and born of the light
your presence is precious and deserves only the best
but I know myself and know that it must be with somebody else
in my memory you are still laughing
with your smiling Irish eyes
dancing until the new dawn has broken
through the parting of the sombre night skies
the dew on the lawn sparkles and welcomes
the first day of the rest of your life
and if in the distance you can still hear the thunder
that carries it's power to you
let it lift up your heart and embrace all your sadness
let the sun dry your tears along with the dew
tilt your head toward the sky and sing a sweet song
embrace the freedom life has given to you
don't ever close your heart and mind because of me
you are worth a million of me; from here to infinity and more
I will always love you in my own special way
but put the memory of me away within a closed drawer
lock it and throw away the key
but keep your heart open; your one special love is still yet to come
forgive me my special friend; it could never be me
you deserve someone to love you equally
unequal measures of love will never do for you or for me.

The Palm Warbler is found in two different forms. Birds that breed in the western part of the range are duller, and have whitish bellies. Those breeding in the eastern part of the range are entirely yellow underneath.
Despite its tropical sounding name, the Palm Warbler lives farther north than most other warblers. It breeds far to the north in Canada, and winters primarily in the southern United States and northern Caribbean.
Breeds in bogs, open boreal coniferous forest, and partly open situations with scattered trees and heavy undergrowth, usually near water. Found in migration and winter in a variety of woodland, second growth and thicket habitats, on the ground in savanna and open fields, and in mangroves.
I photographed this one in late December in Palm Beach County, Florida wetlands.
This is a capture from the Pack Forest outside of Eatonville Washington State

Taipei is very hot these days and reached 38.5ºC this afternoon. I was quite lazy to go outside and only can share a sunny shot last year of similar weather type.

Ich Liebe Wölfe, vor allem im Winter finde ich es spannend diese aussergewöhnlichen Tiere zu Fotografieren. es gibt nicht viele Tiere um die sich soviele Mythen und Legenden drehen.
I love wolves, especially in winter, I find it exciting these exceptional animals to photograph. there are not many animals around which so many myths and legends live.
