Output from my color library program as part of testing - I wanted to make sure it supported mixed shapes. (It also generates .svg output as well now, but I can't upload that to Flickr as it doesn't support that type.)

This poor deer had a bad limp and couldn't stay dry in the river.

Output part of my DIY sound / light / X trigger for the camera or flash.

When connected to the camera, the camera will focus when you press the "set focus" button. After that, a pulse from the 555 will trigger the photo. This trigger will also reset the "focus" button.

I also use this circuit to trigger the flash only, connecting the flash to the lower FET. In this set-up, the flash will fire only once, and only after you have 'armed' it by pressing the button. This avoids multiple flashes when things go noisy by braking glass etc.
