The simplest control you can use over an electrical device is digital output. In this case, you would either turn something off, or on.
You can barely make out the bottom of the old hydroelectric plant in the middle of the background of this picture. I really like shooting this plant, and a recently fallen tree gave me access to what I was hoping would be a new angle. Unfortunately, the left side of this shot, the side I had never explored until this day, is so overgrown that I'll have to wait until the leaves are gone. Hopefully this fallen tree will still be here to grant me access over this small portion of the Haw River. If not, I'll get wet and cross this part, as I'm now more determined than ever.
