Checking one of the output voltages at the connector. This is the total voltage from the transformer secondaries in series, these are nominally 15V each and there are 3 of them. However, they give something over 17V off-load. This test shows I've got the phasing of the windings correct.
The power output is a USB. There is a switch that can be toggled to turn the charger on and off. The blue LED indicates that the USB is charging. The red LED indicates that the chargers battery is low, yellow indicates that the battery is charging, and free indicates the battery is full.
One of the smaller Claas Tractors, the AXOS has a 4.4 litre 4-cylinder engine withpower outputs between 55 and 75 kW.
The wheelbase is comparatively short 2,489 mm, which is also its approximate height. This tractor weighs approximately 2,500 kg and is highly manouvreable.
Here it is equiped with a furrowing tool (for creating furrows). The outer blades are folded in to make the tractor and tool more compact for travel on the road or through tighter environments.
This Claas AXOS has been modelled in Lego bricks for Flickr LUGNuts 37th Build Challenge - 'The Food We Eat' celebrating vehicles used in the production or distribution of food, or just with funny food derived names.
I have chosen to build the Claas AXOS, after driving past the Claas distribution centre in Laverton (Melbourne), Victoria, and admiring their lovely lime green colour. Further research has highlighted the supreme capability the Claas Tractor range is capable of.
