As a kid, we always pretend ourselves going on an adventure. Even though the adventure can be as simple as going to a park or playing at a beach, it can still be an exciting experience. I came across with this kid who got himself a stick to guide him through his journey at the beach.
Every time he discovered something mysterious, he would yell out and let his parents know. Throughout his journey, he encountered many things he never seen. Regardless of what he found in the end, it is a journey that he will not forget in a short time. I love this kid....be like this kid...be adventurous! Go out and explore the uncertain...learn from your surroundings....

It’s practically impossible to look at a penguin and feel angry - Joe Moore
It was World Penguin Day on Monday, and I missed it. But I have a few snaps to share, including a penguin hug. Better late than never.
//World Penguin Day takes place during the annual northern migration of Adélie penguins, a species of penguin that is native to Antarctica. Adélie penguins migrate north to have better access to food during the winter months when the sea ice expands and then, during the summer, return to the coastal beaches of Antarctica to build their nests.
This annual celebration of penguins was created at McMurdo Station, an American research center on Ross Island. Researchers noticed that the Adélie penguins began their migration around this day each year, and so they founded World Penguin Day as a way to mark the occasion and raise awareness of these creatures.
While the day originated from the Adélie penguin’s migration habits, it celebrates all species of penguin and highlights the plight of these water-loving creatures. Of the 17 or so species around today (the total number of species varies depending on how you classify them, but there are at least 17 and possibly as many as 20!), sadly 10 of them have been deemed endangered or vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and 3 are considered near threatened.
Penguins spend up to three quarters of their lives out at sea and are reliant on the oceans for food. Overfishing and pollution such as plastic and oil spills therefore pose a real threat to these birds and have contributed to decreasing populations, which in turn has a knock-on effect on the wider ecosystem. And for those species based in the Antarctic (the emperor penguin and the Adélie penguin), climate change is shrinking the sea ice, which not only impinges on their habitat but can also impact chick hatching times and the availability of food.//

Went fishing today like a fool, fishing in the middle of December. Didn't even get a nibble or a bite, no hardheads no crabs (no nothing) Was hoping for 2 or 3 flounder (didn't happen) After freezing my booty looked out across the bay - Beautiful Sunset - Said to myself "grab your camera" here it is ~

So I'm checking out the layout as I do every day. A fresh coat of snow blanketing the layout ... couldn't help myself. :-)

The church of Panagia Eleousa. The plece is surrounded by a green oasis, there are many trees, plants, flowers, various species of animals and birds as well as a playground.
It is a very beautiful place where you can visit at all hours of the day. I suggest you visit it in the afternoon, because the sunset is magical.
As usual, I published backwards ... but still have some more processing to do as well as getting out there and adding some content .... like JACKS!!
I went outside at dawn and played in the driveway with my skates ... lol! And, as the Garbage Trucks were picking up our trash ... the guy waved .... see, I was on my belly with my camera and must have looked crazy .... ah, fun times,
and then .... when I was getting up (awkwardly) I fell over, ... after that I laughed hysterically at myself because it was just funny I just went right over on my left side as if someone pushed me all at once. I do have a bruised calf but hey .... all in the job of the creation of art, ... right? =0)
Oh yeah, I also quickly looked around like an idiot to see if anyone had seen me just plop over .... hahaha, my word, I really need the chiropractor again, my legs just let go while I was already sort of crouching. e m b a r a s s i n g ...
My kids... being kids. :)
Not only does my daughter have me wrapped around her pinky it's quite obvious she has her "big brother" wrapped too. Lol!
Exactly 14 months apart to the day, they are inseparable. We're blessed indeed!
