Thank you so very much for your interest in Clean Bread and Cheese Creek. Unfortunately the heavy rains of the spring and the areas outdated stormwater management controls of our community has clogged this historic stream with trash. We can certainly use all as many volunteers as possible of all ages and abilities and we look forward to the possibility of working with you! We are all aware of the importance the health of the Chesapeake Bay hold to all Maryland Residents. Those who grew up in this area remember a different creek entirely, one teeming with frogs, crayfish, and minnows – a place where many a child spent long summer days happily playing. It is our goal to bring back that stream, not for me, not just for the residents that live along it, but for everyone who reaps the benefits of the Chesapeake Bay. We are a group of volunteers working with the community, National Public Lands Day, the Ocean Conservancy, American Rivers, Trash Free Maryland, as well as other organizations to clean up Bread and Cheese Creek.
Please mark your calendars for our next cleanup on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Rain or Shine, as the day and time we clean up the section of Bread and Cheese Creek from the Berkshire Area to North Point Road. Registration will be at 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. This event will be run in conjunction with the International Ocean Conservancy as part of their International Coastal Cleanup Event.
We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them
Our cleanups are part of an ongoing effort clean the entire stream by 2014 in preparation for the War of 1812 Bicentennial Celebration. (Bread and Cheese Creek will be receiving two historic plaques on the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail) The creek played a rather significant part in the Battle of North Point which took place on September 12, 1814. Both the American and British Troops camped along its banks, the American troops using is as a rallying point. It is rumored that the young heroes Daniel Wells (19) and Henry McComas (18) used the stream channel to sneak up on British General Robert Ross killing him with their muskets before being killed in return fire. This important part of our history should not be left the eyesore it currently is.

Looks Scary
Well its definitely old and outdated. In fact, you might even say there's no way this is in operation and that its a doctors office here in #losangeles but it is.
This is the office and exam room of my hernia surgeon. Don't let the looks fool you and we all know we shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
I'll admit I did judge the book and was concerned for my safety during the exam and wondering if I should seek another doctor. Coincidentally, this was the doctor scheduled to remove my one hernia before covid. I now have two hernias and not a spleen that's retaining blood which @lacuscmedical diagnosed me and stated I refused care. Good thing I did because my spleen is just fine.
I will have my first surgery next month and 3 months later the second hernia will be removed. I've mentioned my new primary care doctor, Dr. William King, and amazing staff. I have entirely new doctors and specialists. I'm no longer in clinic care and things are getting better.
Most of all, I'm living again after being convinced, treated like, and told I was going to die. The only reason I was going to die was because of all the lousy care I was receiving from @lacarehealth and @lacuscmedical backed my Medi-Cal.
So while this office may look outdated and scary, not changing my insurance, demanding new doctors and specialists, I'd be near death or dead. This is beyond outdated and scary.

I tried using similar items to what they found on the show, wire that I stripped down and some black bubble wrap. It's not the worst look, but it definitely does look more like a garbage bag thrown on her. I fringed the bottom to give it more of a fun twist, and added a wire embellishment to the top. I should have chosen a model that was not already sporting a necklace, but what can I say?
I skipped last week's challenge, and I may come back to the lingerie challenge, but for now...

Following an £18.4m refurbishment designed by Karakusevic Carson Architects, Record Hall has been transformed from an outdated former record depository, into a state-of-the-art, six-floor business centre with a striking exterior.
The brief given to Karakusevic Carson Architects by owners Workspace was to redevelop the 1920s structure on Leather Lane, part of the Hatton Garden Conservation Area, into a modern building that offers cost effective workshops suitable for companies working in both the jewellery and media & creative industries.
Redeveloped by main contractor HG Construction, Record Hall now offers 61,000 sq. ft. of office and studio space. The project involved refurbishing the existing four-storey building and adding a two-storey roof extension.
The upper levels of the building, including the new extension, are clad in striking Proteus HR Aluminium panels with a bespoke bronze United Anodisers (540) finish; chosen to reflect the heritage of the area, which has been at the centre of London’s jewellery trade since medieval times.
Installed by FPP Facades, Proteus HR was also specified because it is a lightweight, strong and versatile cladding panel that creates an optically flat aesthetic. The integrated modular rainscreen panels feature an aluminium honeycomb core, structurally bonded between two thin gauges of lightweight metal skin to create an optically flat panel.
In addition, Proteus Facades fabricated bespoke extruded vertical and horizontal fins with an identical finish, which gives the impression that the cladding panels are recessed into the building. This further compartmentalises the façade against the existing brickwork and complements the art deco window styles that, when illuminated in the evenings, shimmer in the light and provides further countenance to the striking design for passers-by.
Inclusion of the rainscreen cladding not only offers appealing aesthetics but adds to the energy efficiency by allowing the incorporation of high levels of insulation behind the panel – the relatively thinner panels allow increased insulation thickness on the inner structure whilst still maintaining the ventilated cavity behind the panels.
The Proteus HR panels provide the building with protection from the elements, too, including elevated windspeeds in this built up area with narrow streets dominated by medium rise structures.
Along with efficient new building services, the incorporation of high-performance insulation to both new and existing elements of fabric and a wildflower green roof have all contributed to the achievement of a BREEAM Excellent rating.

This Arby's is rather outdated and I'm not surprised. Many fast food joints in North Chicago are outdated compared to other suburbs in Chicagoland. This is cause North Chicago is one of the most dangerous suburbs. Other than fast food joints and a Dollar General, there's not much here for residents. The grocery and discount store are only for people in the military as Naval Station Great Lakes is located down the street.
Keep in mind this map is outdated, as major changes have happen, new residential areas, new bridge, the road mapped as E18 is no longer E18, but FV128, and E18 goes further down.

Animation even ruined good iconic legacies like Hanna-Barbera, A new DeVry College of Technology will be replacing Warner Bros Animation for good for Nelvana to take over Warner Bros Animation and good thing I am restoring all of my golden toddlerhood stuff like green chalkboards, and electric mechanical wall bells, and Corbeil School buses, and Crayola Kid's First Jumbo Washable Crayons and good thing I am reviving Nelvana's version of Corduroy the Bear with the premiere of Two Buttons again and Forever fixing Betty Quan's upsetting mistake for good and having Nelvana restore Hanna-Barbera back to its original Glory. And good thing all of the bad things from the early 1990s are going away and good thing I am rebranding McDonald's with the 1997 My McDonald's tagline to go against super-size and get rid of super size for good SHAME ON YOU WARNER BROS ANIMATION. The reality is that demolition are based on how bad the building is damaged not on how old the building is like in 1992's Tom and Jerry the movie. Whereas Warner Bros Animation deserves to be shut down because Warner Bros Animation has been making over billions of reimagined reboots and revivials whereas Nelvana only made 1 reimagined reboot.
This proposed coupe would replace the outdated Hawk. It was designed by Brooks Stevens and built in Italy by Sibona-Bassano. Stevens called this replacement 'Sceptre'.
For several reasons Studebaker had to close down its South Bend, Indiana production plant in December 1963.
Some production was replaced to their production facilities in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada). In March 1966 also this factory had to close its doors.
Imagine what kind of cars Studebaker could had offer us if it hadn't gone bankrupt. Master designers Raymond Loewy and especially Brooks Stevens had various plans and ideas for future Studebaker cars.
With a minimum of financial space Brooks Stevens was able to renew the Lark series on a spectacular way. He worked together with the Italian coach-builder Sibona-Bassano to realize his plans.

"Stevens and his team did some great work for Studebaker over the years. The 1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk with its Thunderbird-inspired roof design was a great looking car that was originally designed by Bob Bourke, who did the 1953 Studebaker models, and later Vince Gardner, who designed the 1956 Studebakers. The Studebaker Sceptre concept model of 1966 was another design that came from the Brooks Stevens design team. Some consumers felt it was the greatest design created for Studebaker by Stevens. There were three models built by Sibona & Basano in Italy on Studebaker’s Lark chassis that were introduced to the automaker’s management team".

Thank you so very much for your interest in Clean Bread and Cheese Creek. Unfortunately the heavy rains of the spring and the areas outdated stormwater management controls of our community has clogged this historic stream with trash. We can certainly use all as many volunteers as possible of all ages and abilities and we look forward to the possibility of working with you! We are all aware of the importance the health of the Chesapeake Bay hold to all Maryland Residents. Those who grew up in this area remember a different creek entirely, one teeming with frogs, crayfish, and minnows – a place where many a child spent long summer days happily playing. It is our goal to bring back that stream, not for me, not just for the residents that live along it, but for everyone who reaps the benefits of the Chesapeake Bay. We are a group of volunteers working with the community, National Public Lands Day, the Ocean Conservancy, American Rivers, Trash Free Maryland, as well as other organizations to clean up Bread and Cheese Creek.
Please mark your calendars for our next cleanup on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Rain or Shine, as the day and time we clean up the section of Bread and Cheese Creek from the Berkshire Area to North Point Road. Registration will be at 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. This event will be run in conjunction with the International Ocean Conservancy as part of their International Coastal Cleanup Event.
We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them
Our cleanups are part of an ongoing effort clean the entire stream by 2014 in preparation for the War of 1812 Bicentennial Celebration. (Bread and Cheese Creek will be receiving two historic plaques on the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail) The creek played a rather significant part in the Battle of North Point which took place on September 12, 1814. Both the American and British Troops camped along its banks, the American troops using is as a rallying point. It is rumored that the young heroes Daniel Wells (19) and Henry McComas (18) used the stream channel to sneak up on British General Robert Ross killing him with their muskets before being killed in return fire. This important part of our history should not be left the eyesore it currently is.
