Primeira vez que eu fui, finalmente comi a famosa cebola.

This is a scan of a photo that I took years ago. I had taken out my Annalee Kangaroo and my mother's too - attached a stick with a little wire to their arms ... put a real mini-marshmallow on the sticks - built and lit the little campfire and snapped a bunch of shots. The neighbors were probably wondering what I was doing. Years before this shot - I had done a similar shot minus the covered wagon and koala and submitted it for the Summer category of an Annalee Doll photo contest. I think it won the Summer Fun category. I had posted a photo of a photo in a matte of this a long time ago - but my mom just let me borrow an old album and she had an original photo :)
PS - the "chuckwagon" is actually a lamp. The light turned off and on when you lowered the front wooden pole where the horses would go :)
Also - these were special edition Annalee Dolls - from back in the day when they were all handmade in Meredith, NH.

A rather different looking vestibule due to the brace in the ceiling. The inner set of doors appear to be made of a different type of wood as well.
The children played outside while their parents attended classes at Nungalinya College in Darwin.

In addition to creating original images, I also compose music as well. You are invited to visit one of my music sights and listen to some of my unique compositions.
Here's my posted piece: Down Through the Ages by pdw from the Alpha & Omega Suite - the Seasons!
Music is just like art… it's quite subjective. You might love it or you might not enjoy it at all, but it represents who you are, right or wrong. I just want to say Thanks for viewing my art and taking a few minutes to give my music a listen as well.
For hundreds of miles there is nothing but dust, scrubby bushes and the odd dead tree.
We pass the occasional roadhouse but otherwise Australia's centre is completely empty. It's hard to comprehend such a vast open space with no people. I love it. The environment is too harsh for humans and most plants and animals. Only specialised organisms can survive.
