My contribution to "Out of the box" themed Flickr Friday.

A few pics from the Robbie Williams show at the O2 Arena.

Modern design is a trend these days. Especially for those people whose main focus is the function of their home. Aside from that, the clean look of modern interiors make homeowners love this type of concept which is clutter and stress free. What more if you use minimal furniture and accessories? Your living room will surely look light and calming.

If we do not learn to think outside the box and see only what we are familiar with, our senses are clouded by our expectations. It is not until we extend ourselves that we can set new thoughts in motion. If you release the alchemist within you, the opportunity for gilding your existence will soon present itself. You will always be rewarded with a crock of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Maybe this photograph of BSSR-House will inspire you?

PIERRE PAULIN ORANGE SLICE CHAIR

From different visual angles, the Orange Slice shows several stages of 'curl up'. In fact, the chair seems to change shape every time you look at it. The Pierre Paulin Orange Slice chair comprises two completely identical shells of pressed beech, covered with foam on a chromed metal frame. The Orange Slice chair was designed in 1960. Made in Holland by Artifort.

One of these hens needs to come Out of the box! These are Dominique hens, (sisters) and apparently want the same thing as is often the case with sisters. They were funny to watch as they jostled for position and in the end, there were three eggs so another hen must have been in there first. The box is only 12 inches by 12 inches and there are six different nesting boxes. I painted each one a different bright color to see what chickens prefer. In the end, the color didn't seem to be an issue at all but rather, the 3 boxes on the top row seem to be preferred, although they lay in all of them.

Dodge Charger General Lee Coupe - 1969

You know it's Out of the Box festival time in Brisbane when you buy tickets to a show that involves toddlers and a lot of masking tape. It's not as weird as it sounds. Well, mostly not. These were the coloured lanterns hanging above South Bank to show that children aged eight and under now rule the place. I fail to see how this situation is any different from normal operation.

I took this shot at the Florida Liner terminal, while my talented young buddy, Marc Nicolas, made them pop out real good. The photo was used for a slide in a PowerPoint presentation, edited by him and prepared by me and Benny Arce, for the recent Wow Philippines 'Ilocos Region: More than you can imagine' tourism exhibit at the Clamshell Pavillion in Intramuros, Manila, Philippines. My eco-adventure group, LEAD (Laoag Eco-Adventure Development) Movement, was invited to present for sports and eco-tourism.

For Flickr Friday, 'out of the box' theme.

Lit with a desk lamp on the right, shining on the chocolates, and flash from the left, through a small softbox at 1/32 power.

She's red ... that's what I notice.

The day is after 5 pm and the sky is slightly overcast. We're walking down Passeig de Gràcia and I'm thinking that for shooting photos, this is going to be a dull day.

As I cross the street, my eyes perceive some bits of outstanding color. And, there she is.

I like the way she is sitting, I like the way the skirt drapes over her legs.

She has a complete unawareness of anyone or anything around her, (I wonder why)

And the color RED on her clothing KNOCKS my eyes out of their sockets. She's so RED!!!!

I did hardly any processing ... just a bit of cropping and I increased the exposure just a tad,

And the rest of the photo was out of the box (the camera).

Thought I would bypass the pier tonight and post this abstract .

Lighting created by my new favorite LED flashlight and a hand held strobe, mixed with natural light. A wide open shot @ f/2.8 created a fantastic out of focus element to the Japanese teapot. All set on a black reflector.

taken by the youngest artist of our little collective with a Wiko Raibow Jam in 2016 when Yuki was 3 years old. The lettering has been made by the same child artist :-)

Ref. IMG_20160613_123614 on 09.06.2016

We adopted Yuki & his girl partner, Tina, years ago from an old lady who was impaired and could no longer take care of them. All she wanted was they go in good hands & they did!

The grown new family is now made of 10 members! One senjor son, called Pepe aka Pepito has just been adopted by a family who came to pick him up from very far, almost South Tirol, with their lil childgirl aged 2 who was too sad for having lost her own cockatiel.

Even Peppa, the 2nd born, female, will soon be adopted by a dear aunt who saw her photo & instantly fell in love with her & requested to take care of her. They are a great company, pure Joy!

I would suggest to anyone, especially in need of a pet therapy, one or more cockatiels, they are very cleaver, kinda quiet but individualistic, every one has his/her own personality, never scared by human beings & all of them are full of good feelings!
