Tom Hall played at Harvest Sessions on Saturday, October 20 from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Harvest Sessions is presented by KDHX Community Media, The Whitaker Foundation and Tower Grove Farmers' Market and takes place every Saturday at the West Pool Pavilion in Tower Grove Park for the duration of Tower Grove Farmers' Market's regular season. Tom Hall has been performing for over twenty years and has won national and local acclaim for his exceptional blues guitar work. Harvest Sessions is free and open to the public.

Tom Hall has played in countless bands, but his solo performances truly capture audiences. He wanders through the sounds of Argentina, Ireland and Africa, but he always returns to his musical roots. When he is playing Mississippi-inspired blues, he shines like his signature National guitar. If you have not yet seen Hall play live, don't miss this oppurtunity to catch one of St. Louis' most talented artists.

The 2007 inaugural season of Harvest Sessions has featured great concerts from local and regional performers. With Tower Grove Farmers' Market as the backdrop, Harvest Sessions also hosted an International and Children's Series that proved very popular in the community. KDHX Community Media, The Whitaker Foundation and Tower Grove Farmers' Market are proud to sponsor this free concert series on Saturday morning.

On December 5, 2015 I had the oppurtunity to participate in

Help-Portrait, a global initiative that brings photographers, hairstylist, and makeup artist together to use their skills to give back to those in need. This year Help-Portrait Las Vegas partnered with the U.S. Vets center in downtown Las Vegas to work with homeless veterans on the path to recovery to

capture their portraits and share their stories. These are some of my favorites from the day.

Sixteen Year 9 girls from 13 Hampshire schools undertook a residential work experience programme from the 16-20 February 2009 on HMS Bristol. The girls and three staff from the Women in Science and Engineering campaign visited HMS Sultan on the 17 and 19 February 2009. The aim of the visit was for the girls to have an oppurtunity for practical experience in engineering and to meet female engineer role models. This visit also aimed to increase the girls interest in engineering and inspire them to take engineering up as a career.

Volunteer Kendra Jackson in Ghana Kasoa, medical program. "Volunteering abroad has been something heavy on my heart for a few years now, and I am finally in a position where I will have free time in the summers and wanted to jump on the oppurtunity to give back. This is what I recieved from Anna in Rome, Italy. She made those felted beads especially for me! I have never worked with felted beads before, I really really like these. It will be a great fun challenge to use them. And look at that MOP huge leaf. It is of an amazing quality, absolutely fantastic. Thick and flawless. Divine!

This is a good challenge for me, I have not yet any specific ideas of what to do or how to use what I recieved. I think I am gonna take the oppurtunity to try something totally new, like learning bead crocheting for instance, or something else people do with seed beads, hm ...

Thank you so much Anna!

Ah, I love this picture! Mostly because Judi is in it! Judi is an amazing person who always makes me laugh. Plus people think we're both crazy because we're always happy or giggley.

But, back to the picture! We had just gotten off the plane in Ireland, to attend an international Model United Nations Conference in Dun Laoghaire (that's pronounced "Duhn Lee-ree") called SAIMUN. Our shuttle was mega late, and the weather was nice, so what better oppurtunity to take pictures?

:D

model: Judi dearest.

Trey's shoe came off and i used this as an oppurtunity to teach Trey

the word "shoe", which i think he knew already because I told him

"Trey go get your shoe" and he ran to get it.

Kiran decided to help me put Trey's shoe on. On one of the pictures

she was smelling them and said "stinky shoes", which is a game we

play. Stinky toes and stinky shoes is a favorite.

Also got the oppurtunity to get on one these. It's amazing; riding on a trolley and touring around all of San Francisco and sight-seeing its many historic monuments. The feeling of the breeze is incredible as you're hanging on the bar and leaning out of the trolley. It was a nice experience and something I'll definitely never forget.

I don't know if I said this before but I prefer to be behind the camera than to be infront of it but then.. if oppurtunity knocks (meaning, if there's no one looking and I can just set the camera to selftimer) then why not use it! Hahahaha.

Zuri wasn't feeling good and I took the oppurtunity to take photos of her while she didn't move a lot.
