Day 2 of our diving adventures began on dive site 777, followed by Tuna Alley. Our first oppurtunity to spear the invasive Lion Fish as well, there are many videos to go with this set of photos. An amazing day, started with a fantastic breakfast cooked on board.
There were so many oppurtunities for shots like these in Charleston, SC. Every other block would have these narrow alleys between old buildings. Not one did I see that was full of trashcans or dark and foreboding. This city certainly should get some sort of award for being so asthetically pleasing.
Tom Hall played at Harvest Sessions on Saturday, October 20 from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Harvest Sessions is presented by KDHX Community Media, The Whitaker Foundation and Tower Grove Farmers' Market and takes place every Saturday at the West Pool Pavilion in Tower Grove Park for the duration of Tower Grove Farmers' Market's regular season. Tom Hall has been performing for over twenty years and has won national and local acclaim for his exceptional blues guitar work. Harvest Sessions is free and open to the public.
Tom Hall has played in countless bands, but his solo performances truly capture audiences. He wanders through the sounds of Argentina, Ireland and Africa, but he always returns to his musical roots. When he is playing Mississippi-inspired blues, he shines like his signature National guitar. If you have not yet seen Hall play live, don't miss this oppurtunity to catch one of St. Louis' most talented artists.
The 2007 inaugural season of Harvest Sessions has featured great concerts from local and regional performers. With Tower Grove Farmers' Market as the backdrop, Harvest Sessions also hosted an International and Children's Series that proved very popular in the community. KDHX Community Media, The Whitaker Foundation and Tower Grove Farmers' Market are proud to sponsor this free concert series on Saturday morning.

Got the oppurtunity to see Don Broco for the fourth time on the 14th September in the cellar bar. didn't want to make these black and white but had no choice. Broco didn't disappoint once again.

So I managed to blow the spider gears in my rear axle so I decided it was a good oppurtunity to upgrade, so in goes a limited slip and some 4.56 gears.
Now that my mums dog is over for a week, it's a good oppurtunity to explore Eindhoven and its surroundings.
This wonderful piece of nature is just a 15 minute walk from home, cramped between the city and the highway.
met up with legendary bigcrustyape a coupla weeks back for a few drinks.
took the oppurtunity to shoot a pic of him for my 80cm Lomo Portrait & photo of the day projects.

The plumbers who replaced the waste lines in March did not replace the kitchen sink lateral, by agreement. But, as we discovered the morning of the fire, they didn't hook the old kitchen sink lateral back up to the new waste line. A major failure to communicate. The fire delayed this repair by three months, but also provided us an ideal oppurtunity to fix it, since the floors had mostly been torn out anyway, and the repair work could be done before new flooring went in again.
We bought Hope this Ariel costume a little while ago but she hardly ever wears it - I dont know why as its a gorgeous costume and The Little Mermaid was her favourite film for a long time. But today she wore it so I grabbed the oppurtunity to take some photos.
However, Hope is a little madam and when I try to take photos of her, she normally sticks her tounge out or pulls funny faces ... however I managed to catch this shot before she gurned another face at me.
So although it doesn't show her full dress, I chose this as todays photo as I think she looks so happy and beautiful in it. The other photos from our mini-shoot are in my photostream :)
Here is MS Flight Sim X on our computer. Recently my younger brother visited me and after a long time, we got the oppurtunity to have our hand together on our long forgotten MS FSX. Here we go in a CRJ700 in Platinum Airways livery, lining up with Runway for take off from Karachi Airport

I met this guy while taking a timelapse of people entering the golden temple dining hall. He talked to me about how he could get out of India. He wanted to find work abroad desperately, but can't find a way.
As an English speaker I sometimes can forget how lucky I am when it comes to overseas oppurtunities.
On Sunday, i got the oppurtunity to photograph Underage Festival for RedBull Reporter. This is most certainly the biggest oppurtunity and event i have covered in my life. I photographed bands such as Hadouken, Don Broco, Ellie Goulding and Professor green.

Photographing for Red Bull was a really good experience, meeting other 'togs and free red bull.

CSX eastbound stopped at Beck Rd. due to problems with the switch. Case 580 backhoe in the distance is working on the issue. Train was blocking Ridge and 5 Mile for quite some time too. But good oppurtunity to get a shot of a unmolested BC Rail C40-8M 4606 trailing one of those ugly cabbed CSX SD40-3's. CSXT 4036 ex. CSXT 8012 exx. SBD 8012 nee L&N 8012.
I was my photographer guide/friend standing on the edge of the boat. I saw this oppurtunity for a perfect shoot.
Our cousin Sophie made her choice. She felt in love with that odd yellow car of her uncle and aunt. Every oppurtunity she had she got into that car and her aunt Marjolein could walk. Sophie now knows every details of the car. Maybe when she is a year of 18? The porsche 914 club will enjoy a new clubmember?

With the help of a friendly technically talented French young lady (see middle) we were able to create a lampshade. My one was called "Levin" dedicated to the name of the male student who sewed the pieces of the lamp together.

A cherished project of mine to capture and document the life by the gigantic river Brahmaputra that enters India in the north-eastern frontier state of Arunachal, travels through Assam and has its confluence with the ocean in Bengal.
I have been having discussions with quite a few eminent who have been born an brought up on the banks of this river. I have just started the project as I my work has started taking me to Dibrugarh University where I have become a catalyst to empower the youth of Assam. It is a blessing.
First of the dancers who have been kind to participate are two students, Sattriya dancers, from centre of performing arts at DU - Bhagyashree Senapati and Purasmita Bordoloi; Also I had an oppurtunity to capture.a bunch of youth who do their physical training on the banks of Brahmaputra, The fishermen's village that lives on Brahmaputra
After raining for most of the afternoon, when it finally stopped i took the oppurtunity to grap this photo of the rain on the front badge of the Golf Plus
All the ladies, including myself, had the oppurtunity to buy a traditional Indian Saree. There was a multitude of choices, colors and patterns. The owners were quite happy to have our business.

The Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington is where we stopped on the way back home. My wife, daughter and I had the oppurtunity to ride a horse- not this one.
Happy Valentine's Day! I dont think we need a Special day to celebrate Love we should celebrate Love everyday...but then again it is nice to rise up to the oppurtunity!

King Edward was murdered 18th March 978, son of King Edgar who was crowned by St Dunstan.
He was only king for 4 years.
Elfrida his stepmother had made several attempts on his life so that her son, Ethelred could succed.
Whilst out on the chase near Corfe Castle, where Elfrida lived, the young king decided to pay her a visit unannounced and with out his bodyguard or retinue.
Elfrida on receiving him gave him refreshment in the grace cup (probably poisoned) whilst a servant took the oppurtunity to stab him in the back. Falling from his horse his foot became trapped in the stirrup and he was dragged for someway until he died. His body was found and interred in Wareham.

as i live in an area which NEVER gets snow, i thought i best cease the oppurtunity to grab a snap of this. too be honest, most of my results were pretty crab but this was my favourite image for the hour or so I had out there....
i now realise i think i should of lowered my aperature but HEY!

Madingley Hall, Cambridgeshire, 2 Apr 2015
Madingley Hall was built by Sir John Hynde in 1543 and occupied as a residence by his descendants until the 1860s. It is surrounded by parkland. Queen Victoria rented the Hall in 1860 for her son Edward (the future King Edward VII) to live in while he was an undergraduate at Cambridge University. The family sold the Hall in 1871.
The Hall and its surrounding park and farmland have been owned by the University of Cambridge since 1948 and is currently the home of the Institute of Continuing Education.
The earliest recorded image of the gardens is an engraving dating from 1705, showing a formal, Dutch-style garden to the north and east of the Hall. This formal style soon fell victim to the prevailing trend for naturalistic parkland, however, and in 1756, Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown was employed to create fashionable, modern gardens. The Yew Topiary Gardens were added in 1927.
I did not know whether it was open to the public, so when I saw an advert for an Open Day I seized the oppurtunity.
