So in the chilly northern wind but under bright skies, I took a walk from the City to the picturesque town of Abcoude due south of the Abcouder Lake at the confluence of the Angstel River and Het Gein. As you walk south from Holendrecht you'll see a large golf course on the right; but across the road there are pleasant views of the western part of the nature reserve, De Hoge Dijk. Spring colors.
Spoon and Fork met on the dancefloor. The chemistry was instantaneous.

Thank you everyone for all the kind comments and favs. They are greatly appreciated.
“If we accept that opposites (or gradations of circumstances, or differences in ways of being) are all part of the same hologram of life (just as we need different shades and colours to make up a picture), then we can see that we need all those aspects to make up our world.”

We watched a short video on two photographers taking street scenes with people in it. It looked like a good challenge. It was an exercise in trying to capture human behaviour and get an interesting composition at the same time. This is another attempt at adding people to the scene. I will not use this photo anywhere else simply because I have no model release for the image. Then I realized, this person probably has a picture of the elk with me in the background. I wondered how many times I have been photographed without even knowing it!
This 15th century grade II listed cottage, is simply named the House Opposite!! Situated in historic Mermaid street in Rye, East Sussex. Rye is a wonderful place to visit with so many fantastic old black and white buildings and amazing history to learn about the town.
First of a series of 8 in a set that takes exclusively Pano-Sabotage imagery into extreme mirroring.
The visual complexity of the foliage and branches of the mostly natural elements, along with the complex mirror shapes makes for a very ornate statements in this series. At this time of year I seem to often end up doing things that are purely or largely abstract. I also wanted to take, what I call, "X-Stream Mirroring" as far as I could go ( for now ). The results made my think of the complex brocades that frame Tibetan Buddhist Thangka paintings. Hence the "Brocade" name.
It's always been my goal to take Pano-Sabotage as far into art making as I can. I love visually complex work and thought I'd "pull out the stops" for this series. Following these 8 it's likely that I'll go in completely the opposite direction, exploring Pano-Sabotage in extremely simple forms.

Day 301/366 of Project 365 (Tuesday, 2020 October 27 - 170th consecutive daily photo): Two adjacent dogwood leaves--one red with tinges of yellow, the other green with tinges of red, and their tips curling in opposite directions--photographed on a cold, dark, dreary, overcast, and drizzling morning.
