Operation Shocktober on October 18th 2008 was the ninth straight month of peaceful global protests against the scientology cult. The theme was zombies, to coincide with Halloween and highlight the many mysterious deaths and suicides of cult members.
All faces of those unmasked are blurred to protect them from the cult's "Fair Game" policy of harassing it's critics. These are brave people of all ages and walks of life, standing shoulder to shoulder with ex-Scientologists to bring the truth TO YOU.

Yesterday ( Wednesday 7 September 2023), officers from GMP’s Economic Crime Unit with other specialist teams in the force, alongside support from Cheshire Police, RSPCA and the Northwest Regional Organised Crime Unit worked together to execute four simultaneous warrants in Partington, Manchester and Lymm in Cheshire.
Two men, aged 17 and 43, a father and son, and a 69-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of money laundering and possession of firearms. They remain in police custody for questioning.
A search of the properties revealed approximately £200k of illicit cash was seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act, two high value vehicles, three firearms, and a large quantity of high value items including 10 luxury watches.
A number of neglected animals were also rescued by RSPCA including eight puppies.
Detective Inspector James Coles of GMP’s Economic Crime Unit, said: “The partnership work today is invaluable to keeping the people of Greater Manchester safe, when we work together with other forces and law enforcement agencies, we are coming ever closer to removing this type of crime from our streets.
“This is great proactive policing work conducted by officers who have managed to remove suspected counterfeit cash from our streets.
“We recently launched Operation Notes, GMP’s dedicated response to tackling counterfeit currency, and although this may look like it is a victimless crime on the surface, counterfeit currency production and distribution is a serious offence and can promote organised violence.
“By seizing this cash today, officers have been able to put a dent in organised criminal networks to prevent the funds assisting further criminality within the community."

Operation Morning Light recovered the debris from the disintegration of a nuclear-powered Soviet satellite. The Las Vegas-based Nuclear Emergency Search Team played a major role in the joint Canada/United States search and recovery effort. The team used sophisticated aerial remote sensing and radiation detection systems to search for debris scattered within 15,000 square miles of tundra. The team spent three months on the ground in this frozen and snow-covered land recovering small pieces and flakes of radioactive debris. Temperatures of -40°F and wind chill factors of -100°F were not uncommon.
A Soviet nuclear-powered Cosmos 954 satellite was launched September 18, 1977. The Cosmos 954 was in a 150-mile high orbit conducting ocean surveillance from the Arctic to the Antarctic. In January 1978, the satellite fell to earth and scattered radioactive debris across the Northwest Territories near Yellowknife, northern Canada. The clean-up operation was a coordinated effort between the United States and Canada. Known as Operation Morning Light." the clean-up continued into October 1978.
As the Soviet satellite Cosmos 954 fell to Earth in northern Canada in 1978, Lab scientists joined a multinational team spending hours in the back of a Hercules aircraft to track the satellite's reentry path and locate radioactive debris.
