PVT Raymond Ruble, PFC Chad Crispin, and SPC Jason Bautista, all from the 1-505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, Fort Bragg, NC rest next to a structure after guarding a 360 degree perimeter for 45 minutes during a medical assistance mission in the town of Keyki, Afghanistan on 29 July 2002. The medical assistance mission was conducted as a reward for the local residents for not interfering with United States forces that are conducting a sensitive site exploration in the caves surrounding the town.

Coal train operations around the Port Kembla steelworks

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Service members unload Meals, Ready-to-Eat at the U.S. Forces Japan Headquarters building March 27 to provide base personnel working in support of Operation Tomodachi. Since the massive 9.0 magnitude earthquake that rocked the island of Japan and triggered a devastating tsunami, Marines, sailors and civilians from III Marine Expeditionary Force and Marine Corps Bases Japan have been working around the clock in support of Operation Tomodachi. The 3rd Marine Division was designated as the Joint Forces Land Component Command for Operation Tomodachi after III MEF was designated as a Joint Task Force. 2nd Cavalry Regiment celebrated the 70th Anniversary of Operation Cowboy, the rescue of the famed Lipizzaner horses from the German Army, April 30, 2015. The celebration took part in the towns of Hostoun and Bela nad Radbuzou, Czech Republic. The shared history of the event has formed a strong tie between the 2nd Cavalry Regiment and the two Czech Communities.

Troopers assigned to 2nd Cavalry Regiment participate in a memorial ceremony in Bela nad Radbuzou, Czech Republic April 30, 2017 to remember Operation Cowboy. The celebration commemorated the anniversary of an operation that took place at the end of WWII in which Alpha Troop, 42nd Cavalry Squadron rescued several hundred Lipizzaner horses from captivity and preserved the lineage of this world-famous breed. The Troopers supported the event by setting up Stryker Combat Vehicle and support vehicle static displays and participating in wreath laying ceremonies. The Military Car Club of Pilsen dressed in period uniforms drove vintage style vehicles and joined the U.S. Soldiers in a procession from Hostoun to Bela nad Radbuzou to honor the Soldiers of WWII.

The girls wanted to do two boxes each for Operation Christmas Child. They have done OCC now for three years (since Sophia was 3 1/2 years old and Olivia was 1 1/2 years old).

 

This has become a tradition, and something the girls really enjoy doing (from picking out the gifts to sorting them to packing them in the boxes).

On Saturday October 20, 2012, on the TUC-organised "A Future That Works" march and rally in central London, this smartly-besuited individual, wearing one of the "V for Vendetta" masks that have become associated with the Occupy movement, was advertising an action on November 5 in Trafalgar Square, apparently as part of the Anonymous movement. KFOR Regional Command-East Kinetic Battalion and Task Force Dragonmaster planned and executed a training mission to extract Polish soldiers from Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny and insert them by air to a hilltop overlooking the city of Gjilan, Kosovo on August 29, 2019. Turkish soldiers provided ground security at the helicopter landing site, and members of the Kinetic Battalion's Liaison Monitoring Teams were out in the nearby towns to inform local residents of the training exercise.
