The Oslo Opera House (Norwegian: Operahuset) is the home of The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, and the national opera theatre in Norway. The building is situated in the Bjørvika neighborhood of central Oslo, at the head of the Oslofjord. It is operated by Statsbygg, the government agency which manages property for the Norwegian government. The structure contains 1,100 rooms in a total area of 38,500 m2 (414,000 sq ft). The main auditorium seats 1,364 and two other performance spaces can seat 200 and 400. The main stage is 16 m (52 ft) wide and 40 m (130 ft) deep.The angled exterior surfaces of the building are covered with Italian marble and white granite and make it appear to rise from the water. It is the largest cultural building constructed in Norway since Nidarosdomen was completed circa 1300.

The Sydney Opera House is a masterpiece of 20th-century architecture and one of the most famous buildings in the world. Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, its construction began in 1959 and it was inaugurated in 1973. Its iconic design, with its distinctive white "shells," evokes the sails of a ship in Sydney Harbour. Since its opening, the building has become a major performing arts center, featuring multiple theaters and concert halls. The Sydney Opera House is a symbol of the city and a meeting point for culture.

Built in 1899 the Metropolitan Opera House in Iowa Falls, Iowa is now a movie theater. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Not one for the purists due to the high level of processing, but I do like the composition and slightly strange feel to this.
Taken on My recent trip to Sydney. I initially wanted to do a long exposure but it proved to be just impossible with ferries coming and going. So took a few shots before i got what i wanted, this is the final image after processing in LR.

The Armenian National Academic Opera & Ballet Theater in Yerevan was founded in 1932 and was opened on January 20, 1933. The theatre building was constructed in 1940 by the architect Alexander Tamanian.
Surrounded with numerous cafes, it's now a popular spot for evening walks and entertainmanet.

Salle de spectacle / The Auditorium. Charles Garnier built the auditorium in the tradition of an Italian theatre. Shaped like a horseshoe, the stalls are overlooked by several tiers of boxes and balconies allowing as much to see as be seen.
