It was an inspiring session at the Rwandan Embassy in Stockholm, where 16 vibrant companies from Rwanda visited. Their eagerness to explore more business opportunities with Sweden, the Nordics, and the Baltics was palpable.

An awesome postcard that dates back to 1979. I found it recently at Arne's Royal Hawaiian Motel in Baker, CA. It was sent to Arne's from the Harbor Inn Motel in Anaheim, CA notifying them that they are open for business!

July 20, 2011, Albany - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announces historic changes to the state's economic development grant application process, continuing the Governor's efforts to redesign the way state government works in order to drive economic growth and create jobs.
Under the new process, the ten Regional Councils will be able to apply for state funding to support projects they determine to be part of their regional strategy using a new Consolidated Funding Application (CFA), making the projects eligible for grant money and tax credits from dozens of existing programs. The combined pool of funding accessible through the CFA totals up to $1 billion.

The Vega Ventura was a medium bomber produced by the Vega Aircraft Corporation, a subsidiary of Lockheed, during World War II. Vega Ventura bombers were used by various Allied forces for different roles, such as daylight bombing, anti-shipping, anti-submarine, reconnaissance, and even night-fighting. They first entered combat in Europe with the RAF in late 1942, but proved to be too vulnerable to enemy fighters and were soon replaced by the faster de Havilland Mosquito. They continued to serve in the Pacific theater, where they performed better against the Japanese forces. In total, 3,028 Vega Ventura bombers were built by the end of the war. [Source: Wikipedia]
