Só peço para ser livre. Livre como uma borboleta que na calmaria voa de flor em flor desfrutando de tudo o que mais complexamente simples e belo a Natureza tem guardado para mim.
Neste mundo que colori de cinzento com a indefinição de milhões de ilusões em simultâneo a liberdade tornou-se escrava do vício e falso prazer do materialismo. E eu fiquei cativo também. Refém de mim próprio, tornei-me insaciável por mais e mais ilusões materializadas na tecnologia e no domínio e acabei por me esquecer da cor da liberdade. Hoje não há mais cor. Apenas eu. Cinquenta mil sombras de um cinzento que indo de pálido a quase negro deixou de me atrair pela sua monocórdica rotina que sendo um vício se tornou doentio. Mas eu queria voar. Nem que para isso tivesse que, depois de velho, me tornar novamente uma criança que neste mundo descolorido corresse em direcção ao céu e à cor como uma borboleta de flor em flor. E assim descobri lá no fundo daquele velho baú já carcomido pelo caruncho uma coisa a que os antigos chamavam “coragem” e desenhei em vívidas cores a bandeira daquilo que sempre desejei: a liberdade. E como uma criança que brinca despreocupadamente libertei-me de mim e em mim me tornei eternamente livre.
