This morning I went cycling to 't Woudt (near Delft) to get some coffee. Bit windy, but such a beautiful clear day.
(sorry for crappy phone pics - I just went for the cycling but it was too nice out not to take some pics)
Found my old NES (almost 40 years old) in the basement and needed testing if it still works before donating it to a friend who has small children :)

(somehow my phone went into 'bokeh mode' for this image, creating a faux tilt-shift effect idk)
On the hottest day of this prolonged heatwave, even the cooling systems needed cooling.

My brother created a custom made escape room to play on our mother's 70th birthday.
It was the first escape room she ever played and to solve it, we had to use pieces of puzzles spread over multiple holiday cottages. A walkie talkie was used to communicate with the other cottages and piece everything together in a covid-safe manner.
The story involved a made up history of the wooded holiday park we were on. As my mother's birthday is on Halloween, it naturally contained a witch that was burnt on the spot in the Middle Ages and her ghost haunting the cottages ever since.

In the 1920s, the brothers Paul and André Horn commissioned Theo van Doesburg, Sophie Taeuber-Arp, and Jean Arp to transform the interior of the Aubette building. The artists focused explicitly on developing the relationship between the architecture and human body movements, putting the viewer into an abstract world.
Kijkduin - Project developers won't rest until there is absolutely nothing left visible of the beach right behind it.
I had a chance to so some more playing with astrophotography using my OnePlus 7 Pro Android phone.
The first image is my final result after tuning the image response curves. The second is a before and after split image.
I used a version of Google's Pixel Camera 7.2 modified by several people. The name is GCam_7.2.010_Urnyx05-v2.0_Wichaya_Salt2_3. It has an astrophotography mode and allows the loading of different imaging parameters. I used astro3.xml. The program took multiple images over 3 minutes and combined them.
