.... I usually do this concept shot with my cards but this year I did 4x6 cards and they presented quite a challenge to get them all in. Happy halfway point.

I fell in love with her. She is a Spiegel Summer Sophisticate Barbie I bought nude and dressed in another ebay find. The background is also ebay. Ohhh now I have like 6 more gowns to find the perfect Barbie for..... At this point I don't think I can be stopped!

for 7DoS: sitting on one of the windbreak / fences along the beach ... Kevin was blown off a few times before I got this shot. If he'd have managed to wedge himself there, it wouldn't be long before the wind and salt in the air would have taken it's toll on Kevin as well (O.o)

This is Beach Party Barbie she reminds me of my cousin that I grew up in the same house like sisters with. Tina is Cherokee Indian. I was always so jealous of her beautiful bronze skin. Anyway I named this Barbie Tina in Honor of my sister Tina.

This is Nikki Fasionista, a Barbie friend. I don't think her face is as pleasing as the other dolls but she does have a motherly quality..

I was tagged to photo a doll in jeans, so I wanted my first card/s to actually be a background for that and it just didn't work out as I planned. I spent hours on those chains Gelli-printing both sides of each card, cutting, and gluing. Then hung them on a dowel and I just couldn't get the effect I wanted showing her jeans and the background the way I wanted. So not to get discouraged with my first card of ICAD this year I will show you 3! I hope this isn't a prelude to more trouble. Anyway here it is. :( It actually took about 10 cards.

Everyone was going to the stage to be glittered so Barbie and I went too.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how this came out. I love how the sun catches the glitter.

So I had the great idea to draw a #BigHeadChuck seal then I remembered I can't draw. Oh well, they can't all be winners, right? The main object of this project to be faithful to taking a new photo each day.

Thirty days, one object
Our life will be evolving once again. I was sad and shed many many tears at the thought of losing my home and starting over. Now, I am starting to look forward to see what life brings.
I've been close to getting a hole in one but to date that wonderful achievement has escaped me. When I set this up this morning my wife suggested this was as close as I would get to achieving that!! I'll try again, tomorrow!!

SHot for 7DOS weekly theme 1 object, B&W Wednesday. I say it's not the same in black & white because the paper's a nice cream colour and I use beautiful gel pens in 6 colours. Colours are coded to activity/theme and sometimes mood 8-)

This didn't really turn out how I had envisioned it. It all started with a pretty red antique compote dish that I wanted to do this shot with but I dropped and broke it while I was drying it after washing it to get it ready for the shot.
I didnt want to give up on the idea so I bought this huge martini glass intending to take it back ala Pikespice Its too big! Barbie looked like she fell in a vat. So I used a glass thingy I had to lift her up.
Then I tried to pour the bubbles in and only the water would pour!
Then she started slipping on the glass "seat" after I got it wet! OMG! I kept trying to position her forever! Finally I figured to to tear a piece of paper towel to sit her on.
Arrrrggghh I was so frustrated at this point. I just wanted it to be OVER!
I dropped handsful of bubbles over her to get a few shots and be done with it!
Then it was just an Eh picture.
I worked so hard on it, so here it is with its free layer from JoesSistah...
Not on the golf course, today just in the garden although not playing golf!!

This has been a learning experience!
I bought the bokeh masters kit (took forever to come in the mail) and it says I had to stop down the lens to 1.8 and my lens only goes down to 5. something... so I'm pissed I wasted $30 and I look over @ the Lens I got for Christmas and the box says50mm F1.8 II...Jackpot!.
I so dont have a clue what Im doing but its fun to try
This wasnt exactly what I was going for and I might try it again but I was stoked to see it come out at all. In my lens it looked like every mans head was cut off.
