"Sounds like quiet time"
My cousin was telling me about how his grandchildren come over and see him as a giant play toy! He gets in the floor with them and plays with them like he's a youngster too. So one day before he had to go to work in the evening he told them he would have to take a nap and they would be hanging with grandma.... They said in unison "Sounds like quiet time!" lol
It the same with my dog and my husband. But when "Daddy" goes to bed Oscar settles down. So I have taken to referring to this time as "Sounds like quiet time"
I know, it doesn't take much to get me. LOL
Not today - freezing cold here - but fingers crossed it warms up a little for my golf, tomorrow!!

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... thanks to you all.
Divergent Tris doll. I have never seen the movie I just love the doll. I named her Jeannie because she looks like my cousin Jeannie did back in the '70's. A natural beauty, and I really dig her tattoo.
ICAD (Index Card A Day) starts tomorrow. I am excited and have a few ideas. I am planning for some to involve Barbie. 61 days of artful fun. Y'all are welcome to play along. daisyyellow.squarespace.com/icad/

for 7DoS: Kevin will be helping me out this week. Today we only made it into the garden ... hopefully we'll be a little more adventurous later in the week :)
No card today unless you want to count the paint pallet I made for this shoot. Yes, lets count that as index card # 42. I did make it out of an index card. ;) The brush out of clay and a sliver of card.
My girls are all dressed up and want to shoot.

A single cloud illuminates above the Colorado Plateau of Utah. On the horizon you can see a distant Utah Mountain range near Capitol Reef National Park.

One Object 365 Days Project
The sun was just about to go down, and was shining through the clouds in streaks, it made the tree light up and look golden! It only lasted a few minutes, so I'm glad I ran out & caught it in time! This one is probably my favorite so far!
This was my morning coffee one day - but actually, any time is time for coffee in my world ;-))

I made the fireplace using duct tape, refuse, and a video from MyFroggyStuff
A 7 1/2 x 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch candy tin with weighted hinged lid. Sunlite is stamped on the bottom and the year 1933 has been scratched onto the surface. The lid features a lovely pastoral scene of a millpond, with the mill in the background, the miller's house on the left, and a girl and her dog crossing a bridge in the left foreground. My wife's mother kept her embroidery in this tin.
