Had a quick last-minute session with Ashley and Robert from Fleurir Chocolates. They needed a quick photo of their chocolates in a bowl and this is probably my favorite photo of the bunch.
Light info - 580EX II through umbrella bounced off the ceiling at about 1/4th power, I believe?
I was originally planning on pointing the umbrella directly at the chocolates but that would have created glare and harsher shadows than I would have liked. Instead I decided to fill the entire room with light and see if that gave me better results, and it did!
I still can't get over how beautiful these chocolates are.
Anthi Stekou (26), Manager of "Mosaico House". In the midst of the old quarter of Kerameikos, "Mosaico" provides save housing and education for 36 refugee women and their children.
When 850.000 refugees came to Greece in 2015, the run-down state was completely overstrained, after public expenses had been cutted constantly for nearly six years, due to the debt crisis. So the Greek authorities had to outsource most of the supply system for refugees to international NGOs like the one, Anthi Stekou is working for. Today, sometimes, she alone is doing the work for four, so institutions like "Mosaico" are heavily depending on Volunteers. In some months, there are more than 20. In other months, there is nobody. A lot of people, being active in the field of refugee help, are on the verge of a burnout.

Selma from Bagdad is presenting her friend's baby. The woman from Bagdad fled so-called "ISIS", together with her husband and their two little children. Now she is living at "Mosaico House" in Athens, Greece. The shelter provides save housing and education for 36 refugee women and children.

Guilty as charged!
Right in front of my nose, huge buildings, occupied by hundreds of families.
Downtown San Paulo, Brazil.
Few blocks from the City Hall, the Stock Exchange, the Central Bank among so many other fundamental, worthy and basic institutions.
In just one of the buildings, 475 families occupies 27 unfinished floors.
Kids play and run.
Clotheslines on the outside of the building, without any protection from falling down and in front of the entire city.
Windows, with breathtaking views, of one of the biggest and most populated cities on the Planet, made of compensated wood or sticks, even at the 27th floor.
People that use strength and organization to impose their reality, to a society that doesn’t care to listen.
Guilty as charged!

NYC Phantom Panning!
Like I have mentioned previously, I did a lot of panning in New York. Something about the taxi cabs begged for the treatment. Throw in a little pedestrian phantom power and I couldn't be happier.
Note: In editing the Seoul Metro Project over the last few weeks, I have been immensely impressed and inspired by the way the Seoul Photo Club faithful use ghosting and blurring to their advantage. Well done, friends!
