The Marchweil Marsh, Marion Bay, south east Tasmania.
The marsh takes its name from Marchweil Farm established in the mid-1800s by John Dunbabin of Marchweil in North Wales. Dunbabbin was a convicted felon transported to Van Diemens Land in 1830. Dunbabbin worked at the property before he and his wife acquired it and named it for his lost home.
The farm is no longer held by the family but is owned by David Walsh of MONA fame. The fields have also been used for the 'Falls Festival' in better times.

The Magician in the Tarot deck is about Transformation. The Magician stands with one arm stretched upwards towards the Universe, and the other pointing down to the earth. This positioning represents the connection between the spiritual and material realms. The Magician uses this relationship to create and manifest goals in the physical realm. The Magician is the conduit that converts energy into matter.

My copy of the 28/2 has some serious, incurable haze and coating loss on the front element necessitating quite a lot of contrast introduced in post!

This with an Olympus OM-4Ti brought back to life with a careful disassembly and rebuild. Still need to replace the rear seals - a teeny bit of leakage along the bottom edge - but we all get that in the end...
