P-Sharan cardboard pinhole camera with Kodak Ultramax 400 film. There is no such thing as small pieces of wood being washed up on the beach at Riis Park, Rockaway, NY. It is giant-size or nothing.

Stan began working for the San Francisco Chronicle as a reporter in 1936 and started a syndicated column called “Postcards” in 1953…He had a very unique style of writing that I miss dearly…He passed away in 1988…

Marines from the Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry-East, navigate their way through the obstacle course at Camp Geiger, N.C., Oct 4, 2013. This is the first company at ITB with female students as part of a measured, deliberate and responsible collection of data on the performance of female Marines when executing existing infantry tasks and training events. The Marine Corps is soliciting entry-level female Marine volunteers to attend the eight-week basic infantryman and infantry rifleman training courses at ITB.

Life’s challenges . . .
This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and SMC PENTAX 67 1:4 45mm lens with a HOYA HMC 82mm O[G] filter using Kodak Tri-X 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way. Something to be got through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.

Cet ours la étais acompagné dun ours brun (pas un grizzlie) , ils semblais chiller les 2 ensemble! Mon pot qui habite le secteur lui aussi avais jamais vu un ours noir et un brun glander ensemble, bien sur nous étions en voiture jai pas réusit a prendre les 2 ensemble, sa aurait fait une photo interessante le brun et le noir sur la meme photo en nature !

Miracles surround us each day. The only obstacle is ourselves. Each day we have the opportunity to experience new events when we cast off the warm blankets and begin anew. Take a good look at something not made with human hands like a mountain, a star, the turn of a stream. There will come to you wisdom and patience and solace and, above all, the assurance that you are not alone in the world.
The wonder of life itself, the blessings, the joy the bliss. Miracles occur when your intentions, your beliefs, your thoughts and your action all work together to engage them to happen. A miracle can be what you experience on a daily basis if you choose to believe that everything about life is a miracle. The beauty of a flower, the expanse of the sky, the incredible sound of blowing air through your ears.
Miracles are as simple as a smile, a hug, or as magnificent as a sunrise each morning. They key to understanding how miraculous your life is, is to notice your life in detail. Be mindful of each step, each smile, each small gesture of kindness and watch what the universe unfolds for you!
An early rise while camping in the Kaghan Valley has done miracles for me in so many ways, by stunning me with the views I never though of ever existed.. Mountains, Deep forests, snow capped mountains and the beautiful light of the rising sun from the east.
