It was really cool being out yesterday the conditions were right for a walk in the woods, but beware of the obstacles.

M, n camera wanted to go to the Hippinkster competition in Hattem on the second day of Pentecost, well I'm not so bad I am afraid of those beautiful animals and you have to walk right past it :-), but thought well then an hour or so, and have still be able to make some nice action shots
Evening mist is slowly forming over the flat Howe of Fife; its only half seven but the sun is low. A very warm and muggy evening and thunderstorms forecast tomorrow.

These poles have been placed as a monument, reminding us all of the old village of Petten. This village was washed away by a major storm hundres of years ago.

A Least Bittern dodges California bulrushes as it relocates from one stand of reeds to another near the mouth of Horsepen Bayou.
The "Jungle at the Gates of the City" is a forest reserve, located in the immediate vicinity of Saarbrücken, the capital of the German state of Saarland. Since about 20 years, no trees have been felled here and nature can develop freely without the intervention of man.
I had to overcome many obstacles of this kind because, true to the concept, nothing is cleared out of the way.
