"Through the century" 1918 - 2018 is the name of the exhibition.
It shows wonderful and huge tapestries that were made in this manufactory of the one of Beauvais (France). It also shows some paintings especially made or corrected from an original painting by the paintor himself to be a tapestry

I admire the music that Sufjan Stevens creates. More precisely, I think I'm in love with it. And it has been a few years now since his Illinois album. So the coming of a new album -- his symphonic suite tribute to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway -- carries with it much anticipation.
His label, Asthmatic Kitty, challenged fans to "MS Paint My Album" with any cover in their catalog, in 350x350 pixels -- and then, offhandedly, commented, "We are wondering if anyone is brave enough to MS Paint The BQE." Unfortunately, I'm just the type to take that as a challenge. So I did some planning, and started sketching some of the skeleton into MS Paint. And once I started, I simply had to finish. Three weeks of late nights later, I built what you see above, lovingly rendered, pixel by pixel, exclusively in MS paint.

Vidalia's to blame, really. But Curiosity is susceptible to the influence of others. Vidalia has taken to sticking her paw down drains. . . you know, the drains that had the plugs removed because Godiva could unhook them and remove them so that Zamboni could drag them throughout the house. Well, a cat leg fully extended down one of these holes brings up plenty of adherent black stuff I'd rather not have to clean up. Thanks, Vidalia. I put the stopper back in my sink. . .

The Venetian in Macau. Apparently the largest casino in the world! Externally is modeled on Piazza San Marco in Venice. On one of the upper floors there is a shopping centre modeled on Venice canals with a fake sky mostly set on a pleasant sunset light.
I thought the slot machines fitted well the obsession theme.

Josh has discovered the laser pointer. Just the sight of the elusive red light and he goes into full predator frenzy. Chasing it at full speed around the house, the street, the beach, whatever. He will slam into furniture, lick walls, and bite my feet trying to kill it.
It's also dog walking for the lazy. Go to beach. Turn on light. Watch dog run. Turn off light when dog is pooped. Usually after five minutes of dead sprint.
