Until the swap where I received some nail polish, I did not paint my fingernails. I only did my toenails for summer. But after reading through some make up and nail polish blogs, I got sucked in. With enough exposure, anything becomes cool, right? That's how it is for me.

I went out and bought these two at my local cosmetics store. I did some reading and Max Factor nail polish is quite good for the price, comparable to Opi and China Glaze. I'm tickled that I can also get this brand in Switzerland. Australis is ok too, I think, but maybe not as good. I wanted something glitter for layering, this was all they had that didn't look too cheap.

didn't turn out how i wanted it to, but it works. last year, dance became my life; i was at the studio ten hours a week, and combine that with academics and lacrosse, i was a little overwhelmed. i felt suffocated.

Drew ran into his room today and we came down to get him cause he was being very quiet...He had gathered every pacifier he could find and was holding them all just like this when we found him. The time is obviously drawing nigh to say farewell to his dear friend "Pedro."

My mum has developed an obsession with the conductor Gergiev and covered the door to the understairs cupboard with photos of him. She's even dragged my dad to go and see lots of concerts he's conducted.

Im took this for this weeks 52 challenge that I'm participating in. Theme: obsession or hearts

I was walking around Shinjuku Gyoen after shooting a yoga instructor in the morning. The park was crowded with people since the cherry blossoms are almost in full bloom. I found it much more interesting capturing the hordes of photographers photographing the blossoms rather than taking the standard cliché images of the cherry blossoms.

just felt like cropping in photoshop tonight.

For some bizarre reason, I like antennas. I have a hard time passing one by without shooting a picture of it (well, ok, shooting lots of pictures). I'm a bit nervous of heights; maybe that has something to do with it... I don't know. Lets hope this will be enough of an antenna fix for me for a while (well, at least here on flicker).

HDR from three exposures.

I know I already have 5 pairs of black heels, BUT I don't have a pair of black peep toe wedge heels . . . yes there is a difference between peep toe and open toe dah

Here is a side view of my entry for the Impression Obsession Black and White Challenge. I have used the following Impression Obsession Stamps:

CC049 - Cover-a-Card Screen

CC081 - Cover-a-Card Damask

WP118 - Word Frames

I created an inside to this card by simply using the same frame stamped with the screen background and inserting the white shape inside the frame to write a message on.

Thank you for looking!

VIEW LARGE ~ Everyday I park my mail truck in front of this hedge, which is a giant undulating thing, kept trimmed by it's owner, a single elderly and eccentric woman, who dedicates 3 months every year to trimming the damn thing. Yes, from Dec. thru mid -March, she is hand trimming each little nook and cranny herself, because "it's better for the hedge than using the electric trimmers". She won't let a gardner touch it, because they wouldn't follow the flow of the hedge. "It lets me know where to trim it" she says.
