OBSESSION - DYANN & DARYN - the end
This series fell out of an older one - fashion for dummies - a few years back. i had given the humanoid mannequins names beginning with the letter D [..for dummy]. the more alien abstract ones were numbered 3 of 5 etc, [.. yes i know, i know]. two, who had been randomly named dyann & daryn, i realised i had returning to several times. the set was originaly titled "dead as they come" after a short story written by ian mcewan, when he was young and interesting. later adapted for tv starring ian holm as the guy who falls for a shop window mannequin.
dyann & daryn have now been replaced by shiny new 5 of 8 and 7 of 8.
these are the final obsessions, discovered sfter a desperate search of the archives.
strange co-incidence? daryn recently showed up half a world away in a picture by a contact in melbourne australia:
Ok..wanted to go to Paris since 7th grade...and I HAD to collect small Eiffels for gifls. Wound up getting 57 of them! SLIGHTLY obsessed!

My secret hidden away obsession, a few sweeties when the kids go to bed and Steve is at work!!! HAHAHAHA
Here is my entry for the Impression Obsession Hearts and Flowers Challenge. I used the following Impression Obsession Stamps:
CC043-Cover-a-Card Roses
WP118-Word Frames
I love Brilliance ink! I used Pearlescent Orchid for the CAC stamp and used the heat gun to dry it which raised the ink up a little bit so that it looks and feels embossed. I learned that tip from reading Shirley's blog :) . Otherwise my card is pretty simple but I was just glad I was able to find all of my supplies as my life and 'temporary place of residence' are still very disorganized. The other cardstock is shimmery as well. I hope to make some other Valentines Days cards also this month.
For future challenges look at the Impression Obsession Blog here.
Thanks for looking!
