I also wanted to do a flat lay with the fruit so that the natural lighting was coming in directly on the side of the fruit giving it dimension and a different composition here.
antique - the two were given to me about 40 years ago by an elderly friend. They had been in her family for many years, perhaps generations. She didn't know how old they were. I was very touched by the gift - she knew how much I loved waterfowl and wanted me to have them.
