I am fascinated by the contrast of light and darkness. I also like to get pictures that are up close and personal with inanimate objects. I think when we look at every day objects from a different perspective, one that is more focused and maybe partial instead of whole, you can see things in a completely different light.

There's a big abism between the 70's rock and the Latin American classical guitarrists.

From the outer loop of the beltway between Georgia Ave and Connecticut Ave you can see the LDS Temple standing grandly, straight down the row, as if the road was build for the sole purpose of framing it. If we had been going that direction the shot would be a little more dramatic, but I actually think this is a more interesting shot, even if not as grand.
