The things we do for a daily snap! This is for the 365 treasure hunt, number 55 Sci-fi.
The game is "Small Star Empires". And what took me the longest time to do for this, was find a base plate for the tripod! Perhaps the tripod should get more use .... maybe next year :)
Shields Road station on the Glasgow Subway is located on the South Side of the River Clyde and hosts the largest Park and Ride facility on the Glasgow Subway system with around 800 parking spaces. The station typically floats around 500,000 entries/exits per year, though you wouldn't think so given the platform isn't too much wider than the door at the end of the platform.
Despite the name, the entrances to the station and car park are actually on Scotland Street and I believe there have been proposals to rename the station. It's at the top of Shields Road though, so there is some degree of sense in the name.
Car 119 is pictured leading Train 5 on the outer Circle into Shields Road. This train runs clockwise around the 10.5km circle.
We recently returned from a trip on the east coast. We traveled from Savannah to Washington DC.
Lots of commitments and activities at home. Haven't been on Flickr at all lately. I will be by to check out your photos soon.
This was taken on a day when the weather all day long was rain ans wind. This is a untouched image with the exception of my watermark and a resize in picnik, other wise this is a SOOC (Straight out of camera) Shot
We've been catching up on The Mandalorian this festive season - there are some fun bits and Mando himself is a charming presence, but overall it's just felt uninterestingly competent. Probably just doesn't hit the bits of Star Wars I really like. Still, it's gotten me back in the mood for some far, far away MOCs, so here's a bandit fighter I whipped together.
View across the dry landscape of the outer Pelorus Sound at the end of an El Niño summer, Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand.
This stone lantern is on Seven Fortune Gods Hill in Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Begun in the late 17th century, Kenrokuen was the private outer garden of the adjacent castle.
This was taken our last night in Corolla, NC on the northern outer banks. Normally at this point in time, the sound is full of water, but a heavy southern wind kind of blew all the water back out in to the ocean. All in all, I think it added a little more to the picture.
Where the S-curve used to be on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. I believe the dome there is a swimming pool & fitness area. East of Millennium Park.

Si cruzas mis sentimientos
y anudas mis anhelos,
si habitas en mis sueños
y resides en mis deseos,
si sabes que te amo,
y sabiéndolo eres feliz,
si sabes que eres todo para mí.
So this is my final entry to summer joust this year! I've already posted pics of the temple and the outer wall separately but this is the final scene, in which I also added a tower. It measures about 80 studs wide and about 100 studs deep. Hope you guys like the complete scene! Please have a look in the album to see detail-shots of the separate sections :)

A maple leaf decoupage on the road after a heavy rain. The road dried quickly, but the leaves are taking longer, as their dampness emits from them like a shadowy glow.
