Petesy and Brian Young join the outcasts for the last song - The Clash cover, Complete Control. Brilliant!
The Outcasts - Complete Control
First entry to Squeamish Gopher's contest! (Also, as a side note, a ton of characters have gotten a reboot, and some have been omitted entirely, so you should probably just assume a character doesn't exist anymore until I upload it. :P There are some, exceptions though, mostly crossover characters like DragonFly and Blitz.)

Born into privilege, Bruce Wayne lost both of his parents in the Myzod Wars. He soon thereafter was visted by the Kryptonian Kal-El seeking refuge. Wayne helped him and in return, Kal-El trained Bruce and brought him into the Outcasts as the Dark Knight. He fought for six years along side the most powerful beings in the universe but was killed in an attack by the Legacy. The mantle of Batman has since passed unto the young Terry McGinnis in hope of him reforming the Outcasts and rebuilding our world.
So I really love two different songs called Shine On.
One by Needtobreathe, the other by JET.
For some reason I have a fascination with songs that have the same title, but are different. It's neat to see different interpretations of the same title.
Haha also reminds me of the song
"This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine ..
Don't let satan blow it out, I'm gonna let it shine .."
:D
I couldn't do this alone, it kept being blurry .. so I recruited the help of my little brother to be the candle-blower-outer.

*explored*
yes indeed.
Thirteen things, whaht?
One) I don't like romantic comedies because every single one has to have that 10 minute part in the middle that's extremely depressing... and I think about that more than the funny parts afterward.
Two) I can never tell whether a girl is into me or not, which usually leads to people slapping me in the back of the head telling me that she was flirting...
Three) My foot is constantly tapping, because I’m constantly listening to music, or thinking about music.
Four) I whistle like there's not tomorrow, even though I’m not very good at it.
Five) I go through phases where I don't like drinking bottled water because it tastes like nothing, but after a week or so, it's the most refreshing drink out there.
Six) I work at a pet store even though animals hate me.
Seven) Sometimes I lie to people just to see their reaction. I usually tell them that I’m lying afterward because of my guilty conscience.
Eight) I'm extremely indecisive . . . about everything. I have to weigh out the pros and cons with almost every situation that I’m put into.
Nine) I used to tell my lizards that I wanted a snake instead, but after working with snakes, I’ve learned to accept my lizards.
Ten) I dislike when people talk to other people in the room through their pets. Example: “I wish that someone would have fed you today, little puppy.” It’s like… the animal is the way of communication, and they’re stuck in the middle of this awkward tension.
Eleven) When typing, I make the facial expressions that I would use if I was having an actual verbal conversation. Apparently, this is not that uncommon however.
Twelve) I dislike getting spam consisting of the words “big,” “enlarge,” or anything phallic.
Thirteen) Lastly, I don’t understand why most guys don’t flush after using the urinal… It may be just me, but I don’t like the idea of someone looking at my pee.
The Hereios are in a funk. You will find them in exile today at the Metaphysical leper colony, the Flickr home to “castaways, cast outs, social rejects, pissed-off individuals, perverted hermits” and the self-exiled.
Over at 7 Days of Shooting the weekly theme is “A Book Title”.
All that, and the fact that it’s “Black and White Wednesday, sent me off in search of a book title about leper colonies. I know that’s all very strange – but it’s just how my mind works.
Anyway, I found a book title, and it is so utterly intriguing I put a hold on it at the library and will probably lay my hands on it this weekend. It sounds like fiction, but it’s a true story about a real place. Here’s a good recording about the place:

Here’s a bit of the review from Goodreads:
In the Sanctuary of Outcasts
by Neil W. White III
White . . . had it all . . . The problem was he didn't have the money to pay for it. So he began kiting checks [and] found himself sentenced to a year and a half in prison. Justice, it turned out, would be more than skin deep. White was assigned to Carville, a prison that doubled as a leper colony. Everything about Carville was tailor-made to make White rethink his priorities. He didn't change overnight, but as White turned his incarceration into a crusade to end the stigma of leprosy, he learned lessons in humility, generosity, and the simple transcendent beauty of the human spirit. His story is well worth reading.

Blue Tit.
See the video I made of this bird: blue tit with fluffy feathers .
This one is daily in our garden. It's feathers are a bit wild.
Because I had to zoom it is not an extremely sharp picture.
Deze ietwat rafelige pimpelmees komt elke dag een hapje eten.

From left to right, Abellio Surrey 8719 (S519 TCF), 8010 (Y42 YVV), 8708 (R508 SJM) and 8718 (S518 TCF) sit in Canal Bridge Industrial Estate (aka "Stantons Yard"), presumably due to there not being enough room in Abellio's depot down the road.
I don't think it's a coincidence that the four buses parked up here out in the open were the four oldest Darts in the fleet!
They're surrounded by ex-London United Darts, during the period where there was loads of those parked here.
I think all four buses have now left the fleet, following 8718's purchase by Go Coach in Kent early in 2014.
8719 went to Green Bus in Birmingham in 2012, in return for a Trident for Abellio to use on the franchised Green Bus school routes here which started in September 2012.
8010 is currently with Pats Coaches in Wrexham, while I can't remember what's happened to 8708 - I am pretty sure it has left the fleet.
